Yes, we are only small fish, those that owe them money are the big fish, they just keep on attracting people with this type of CB offering to get more fish~
*
There are many people ge trapped unconsciously thru their spending because want to maximize the cb or enjoy some of the promotion n unaware of overspending n some get caught in financial trouble. Go akpk page u will know how many people get stuck with cc debts n not afford to pay back n imagine the interest every month got to pay. Example. Just a 50k out standing will get u to pay 750 amonth n this will keep adding up every month.

We are one of the 43.6%, minority!

[2017 - Parliament]

Lee said on an average, 43.6 per cent of total cardholders settled their credit card debt completely in the January to June 2017 period, while another 43.6 per cent pay up at least five per cent of the outstanding balance in the same period.

He adds that the remaining 12.8 per cent are cardholders who do not pay even the minimum payment of their outstanding balance before or within the due date.

He stated that there are 3.6 million credit cardholders up to June this year.

Based on statistics released by the Statiscs Department in 2016, he said the figure represents per cent of the 20 million population aged between 20 to 74 years old.

On average...it is 1 pay on time n earn the rebate n 1 didnt pay up n pay 18%. Bank still make good profits with this ratio. Give out average 1% or lesser but earn up to 18% interest.

Many card holders are not aware how to maximize cb. Like yesterday i share the Bigpay card to my aunty. She said dont waste time on this small rebates

Wow, you have a point to be upset. Considering the only allow 10k max topup, almost half of that now is in dispute.
*
Wondering if we have less than 7k in the card like got 6.5k. First withdrawal of 4k failed but deducted in the system. Then withdraw 3k which is insufficient fund, should be failed but if deducted the full amount n account become -512 like previous reported case, then this card will be temporary cannot be used anymore unlesd u top up more money into it. Then we top up 5k into it. After dispute, then refund the 6.5k, but it will break the threshold of 10k....pening....

Had just started using BigPay today and topup using PB Bank.

I can't imagine how on earth will be any human being willing to use something as bloodiful and crappy as BigPay other than due to the promos and cash backs offered by respective banks.

Why i said so?

BigPay is the WORST, not one of but THE WORST thing i ever seen in online world.

While i jz perform mere 8 transaction.
2 of them showed it is failed in BigPay apps, yet when i call Public Bank the transaction is SUCCESSFUL.

mind you, it's 2 transactions that BigPay told u it's failed transaction while in actual the transaction is successful and money had been deducted from your card.

Call to Bigpay to highlight this issue but there is no answer after a long wait.

Click contact support and wrote to them about my problem.
From 9am till now NO RESPONSE.

BIGPAY, RETURN MY MONEY BACK TO ME!!

ITS A SCAM!
*
I believe after you have gotten your money back, you will immediately cut n throw away that bloody card. Isnt it?

My short 5 days experience with BigPay so far still above average. Had done 13 times top up, 8 retail transactions, 2 online, 2 paywave. The first day facing some hardtime trying to load money thru credit card n settled in few hours time. All this transaction i only got 8 Big points received so far but havent credited into my big account. Got one retail transaction i cancelled it with the sales person n the money was refunded back to my ewallet within 10 minutes.

So far, have no complain yet. Going to start withdraw money for the first time next week, hopefully nothing goes wrong.

This morning top up grab pay into Sgd account. The exchange rate is 2.981. Plus using the paywave to top up my Ezylink card, the exchange rate also 2.981 in the evening.

Overall my experience with them are above average too... Been using over a month ++

Have issue 3 times since gotten the card. 1st time during credit card initial topup. 2nd time due to slow card delivery. 3rd time with credit card topup limit due to sudden announcement.

Other than that, they are fine.

It had come to a point where most users are simply exploiting your service due to offer from other parties (bank offering cb or promo)...

I wonder how long BigPay can survive..

Unless they get really serious about improving all these craps that shouldn't be there at the very first place.

I got one SGD20 top up yesterday. The amount charged appeared to be RM 59.62 @ 2.981 exchange rate.

Then just now i checked, that amount has been revises to RM59.83 which now the exchange rate is 2.9915. An upward of 1.05% revision.

I want to ask why the amount can be changed? Is it normal for doing so?

Wow..
Seems like there are a LARGE amounts custs getting the same problem of topup failed yet card charged.

I had just received the topup for both 'failed' transactions.

BigPay should realized that stating that transaction 'failed' while actually charging can be categorize as misleading or fraud to a certain degree as pointed out by previous reply.

It doesn't matter how u reconciliate the next day or what.
But by doing so, u commit a mislead act or fraud.

Should instead put the word
(Unable to finalize transaction and quote the transaction id ask cust to contact support)

What if someone get this problem and missed 1 topup but he or she conveniently forget about it since BigPay shows topup failed and he or she don't know the card has been charged and while BigPay did not able to reconciliate the transaction the next day?

IS THIS A FRAUD???

From my experience, BOTH the topup failed is due to error from BIGPAY SIDE.
The topup screen KEEPS LOADING for 1 min or so after the bank approved the transaction and the screen eventually shows topup failed.

If your system couldn't take it.
Put on a notice or schcheduled maintenance or system busy so your cust won't suffer from these problems..

I don't think this problem is very frequent for others.
I had been using CC for years and so far i only get 2 error like tis.

1 is BigPay another is myTNB..
Other merchant like GSC Shoepee Lazada etc etc, no prob at all.
Not even your AirAsia.

If buying a air asia ticket n pay using credit cards gets a message fail. Then pay again. Successful. Later found out that pay twice for a ticket. This sound more scary....tongue.gif

Why rugi RM60, nothing to lose lah, you don't gain anything at your 9th top up only.
It is better to perform 9X than risk to 7X only.
*
Who said he gain nothing from the 9th top up? That rm60 still qualify for cash back or rewards points, isnt it? tongue.gif
