Got lor... especially mobile phone shops and computer shops.
Heck even big electrical shops like Sen Heng
*
If those mobile phone shops (sendiri kedai), that one I have no comment. sweat.gif
But for those computer shops like viewnet, Sri computer and so on in lowyat, it does not have additional charge at all.

Unless they wanna bite your additional wallet (perhaps look you so rich), then another no comment. rclxs0.gif

Update. Withdraw at 7-11 (China trust bank) in Taiwan have NT 100 fee. Did this last night. Max allowed withdrawal is NT20k.
Bigpay charge me MYR1390.79 for NT10100 (10k + 100)

ATM screen will show you many languages you can choose

Overall rate still good
*
Is that means the BP exchange rate is better than 3rd party one exchange rate?
As I compare, it is almost slightly different for the rate. But if calculate include withdraw fees for BP, then totally cannot compete with agent exchange rate.

Withdraw twice from Taiwan atm 3 mths ago without extra fee.
Only std RM10 from BP.
Once in airport upon arrival, once in city.
Can't rmb which bank (but not inside 7-11).

Wah, Twd is going strong, the rate was 135-136, now 138!
*
Is not the Twd going strong, is our RM is getting poor like A4 paper..

QUOTE(ctphua @ Dec 2 2019, 03:01 PM)
I have my exchange done in Malaysia and the rate totally cannot compete here. So just FYI for those coming to Taiwan you may consider withdraw here. 7-11 is everywhere.
*
I can say you withdraw at 7-11 there in case you spend too much at there.
Oh ya, that's too many 7-11 & Family mart already... icon_rolleyes.gif

I also failed to top up boost but no problem in retail spending. You may found the answer in support live chat. Seem something went wrong and they are fixing it.
*
I guess Boost also blocked the BP. I have tried several times yesterday but keep rejected.
Worst also using Shopee to pay my bill, been rejected also..

Tried to get live chat, they say iPay88 to cybersource have been rejected for Bigpay card.
So all transactions can be accepted for local bank debit/credit card only.
BP nope..

I'm just wondering, why they wanna to block Bigpay?
Did Bigpay do something threaten to iPay88 (cybersource)? hmm.gif

Ipay88 and Cybersource are different service provider.
Why you still want to use Bigpay to top-up Boost at this moment (till 29/2/2020)? You have Maybank CC and StanChart CC, you should use them to top up both BP and Boost to maximum!
*
Bigpay so far only accept for Visa & Mastercard. Thus, my maybank only amex.
I already top up BP using my Stanchart. Then, I tried to use my BP to Shopee in order to pay my bill.
P.S: I just wanna to clear off the Shopee coin to avoid coin eat back by shopee due to soon expired.

Else, I won't be use the Shopee coin to pay my bill.
Trouble this Shopee, block here block there. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 19 2019, 10:18 AM)
ipay88 is ipay88. cybersource is cybersource. both are different gateway provider.

there is nothing to threaten. more of (mis)configuration or risk scoring coming from bigpay users. usually this is temporary until it's investigated and resolved.
*
I'm not so clear between both of the gateway provider.
I only know the Shopee live support saying about this...

Perhaps our payment and Shopee payment flow like this:-

Customer (Bigpay) > iPay 88 (Shopee payment portal) > (Link to) cybersource (Shopee receive duit..) rclxub.gif

Maybe it's go like this... unsure.gif

I topped up Boost using BP on 17 Dec

Top up Boost using BP on 19 Dec OK already.

Seems like I accidentally delete the saved card details on yesterday from Boost, then cannot add the card on the same day. Need wait after 24 hours then can add card details.. shakehead.gif

Don't worry guys, the only day BigPay stops accepting top up via credit card is the day it shuts down business.
*
If really do so, I will put the Bigpay card and well laminate it as a "history" card of the day.

Because credit card need take care a lot of concern such as annual fee, SST..

Only the rich who have debit card more than 20K is enough already, almost can consider debit "infinite" card. cool2.gif

LoL... you still need to pay whether its debit or credit card.

*
Of course need to pay lah~~ There is no free lunch in this world. cool2.gif
Just the only need to "follow up yourself" while another not need.

For credit card, you need follow up yourself every month and then need to settle before due date. (Else need to pay include interest fees)
But for debit card, no issued.. Swipe until you empty.. At the end, you can't use the card..

Normally those premium ppl sometimes overlook or forget (due to don't have time to check it) to pay back to the credit card..
And then causing overdue date, then GG...
