https://www.soyacincau.com/2019/07/30/airas...processing-fee/

So after Oct can use HLB AA to buy air tickets without paying the processing fee and get 140x big points as compare to BP
*
Since there is no more processing fees, I will use other credit card like m2p to buy air airasia ticker....hehe

Increase RM8 every flight.
then discount of RM5 per flight if paid by Bigpay! Credit cards no discount.
*
If the flight ticket is below 50 ringgit I will use big pay then to get 5 ringgit discount, if more than 100 definitely using other cc

Doesn't matter, in fact most of the time the slip comes out from terminal shows debit card if I'm using BP. Unless this terminal only accepts debit cards, then it may have issue.
*
while travel in US I swipe few times with big pay, the terminal display it as debit card

Ya , now they cancel the fees but give discount to their big pay user, which indirectly force user to use their card, maybe can penalise them again, hehe

glad to hear that bigpay can be used widely in usa...

so just to confirm again, if paying at restaurant, they won't charge the 15-20% tips on the bigpay right ? the tips has to be given as cash only ?
*
commonly, there are two way:
1) when they key in the amount u spend, on the credit card terminal you can key in the tips u want to give/ or they have preset few options for u to choose (18/20/22), then will just press it only.

2) they swipe your card with the amount u spend, then will sent ur card back to you with a pen and receipt generated, below u can write down the tips , after that it will automatically deduct from your card.

As a guildline, lunch give 15 percent, dinner 20

No need, but they will put a tin in front of cashier, usually I just put the balance coin they return to me if I pay cash, if I pay by card then I skip it

another OOT question...i would prefer option #2, but ain't a bit risky to let them deduct the 15-20% tips from your CC after you have left the eatery ?
*
It is very common and widely use for decade alr leh.
Make sure after u write tips on tip column, must sum up and write the total on the total column, don’t left it blank, even u really don’t want tip at all u should write zero on tips column and rewrite the total again on total column.

U need to check your cc statement after that, if the charge is not tally then lodge dispute with your cc company they will contact the merchant bank of the restaurant to review the receipt.

For big pay, a Recent trip to Hong Kong the food bill charge immediately as usual transaction, but only adjusted for the tips after few days

main feature is remittance to other countries.

local bank transfer is bonus.

also, bigpay is doing a calculated risk-management from their learnings for the past year (aka excessive cc topup --> withdrawal)
exactly

bnm is very very picky and stringent for the providers to manage the so-called "cash advance" from topping-withdrawal cases.
*
People is alr thinking top up and direct transfer back to cc...
