Guys about transaction status..
There is approved, settled, decline, pending, and released, reverse..

Anyone can clarify or know more than above status?
I think things that already fix and reflected is = approved /settled /decline/reversed.

Thing that floating and not confirm is = pending

But what is released mean?
*
I kena once.
Merchant - "Do not honour"
BigPay App - (Pre-)charged, PENDING for a week+, then RELEASED.

What mean? U swipe in merchant they don't accept but its charged? Then later on they release back the amount to you? How about merchant side? You pay with other cards?
*
Transaction failed, the merchant got "Do not honour" message but the transaction showed (charged/Pending) at Bigpay APP.
The merchant could not reverse the transaction (The merchant did not have "Approval code"), so the merchant would not and could not claim, then after 7 days (more or less), BigPay RELEASED the fund pre-charged.

I don't care the value of Big reward points.
Just want to be a BIG member to grab some free/cheap flight tickets 1 day in advance.

I see... The msg is in the card machine? Then you pay with other card?
*
Yes, the error msg appeared at the card machine a few minutes (waiting for approval code) after keying in PIN
Tried 3 times, 2 transactions REVERSED immediately but the last one PENDING till RELEASED..
End up using another credit card to pay.

Please share to us!
I believe everybody in this section & thread is really waiting for that to happen till neck very long!

May be can suggest to maybank to allow that using maybank cards n for maybank car loan only  so that can encourage lots of people apply loan n credit cards from them. tongue.gif

You may use Prepaid mastercard for loan repayment in some countries, but not in Malaysia yet.
But it is not a normal card transaction but quasi-cash.
If credit card may be used for loan repayment in the future, the transaction is Cash Advance!

I think since they implement max 10k cc reload, hence rational user will not withdraw more than 10k per month from atm in most case, therefore, 10k should be consider adequate figure for them
*

[/quote]

RM10k/month in average, but max RM20k in a month (opening balance RM10k, topup RM10k, closing balance RM0). brows.gif

Some prepaid card or e-wallet gives >15% rebate/rewards even though top up by using credit card is not possible, eg CIMB-Lazada Prepaid.

Seriously do you guys feel safe with so many reported bugs? We're not talking about loyalty card here, it concerns our money, in fact when we use it frequently with lots of transactions, we might not even spot any errors (i.e deducted extra money, balance wrong, etc). I do not check every detail of my credit card, but really feel insecure with this card now.
*
I feel safe but a bit insecure, inconvenient, troublesome.
It is a prepaid card, not a credit card.
Worse case I lose the credit balance in BP account, max RM10,000 only, not a big issue.

10k is a lot for most of the people I reckon. It’s still a big amount
*
RM10,000 is the maximum.
You can set your own risk limit, say RM500 / RM1000, this level should be accepted by most of the people.
A risk of losing small money (perception) should not discourage you to try and learn a new product/service.

Just got my Ambank True Visa and now enjoying another extra RM30/month~

Total = RM38 (PBBVS) + RM30 (PBBQMC) + RM200/250 (PBB CB4U) + RM50 (SCCB) + RM85 (SCJOP) + RM50/100 (MBBFCBVS) + RM200 (HLB Fortune) + RM30 (Ambank True) = RM683/783 - RM6 X 2 or 3 (BP Withdrawal) - RM2 X 4 (Boost Withdrawal) = RM663/757 CB earning/month~

Bigpay tie up with Master card. So mastercard also collect fees from merchants n pay the fee to the bank. Left hand come, right hand goes.
*
Not equal.
Left hand near 1% cost (Credit card pricing). Right hand less than 0.2% (debit/prepaid card pricing). so will be in deep deficit.

and when they are getting more and more users and the popularity, the value of BP will become priceless.
they don't really look into those small %...
eventually they will introduce ads within apps like YouTube, Facebook etc.
*
Yes you are right. They must be deep pocket to burn money to build up customer's database. They are creating values then sell the value to recover their investment.

I just wanted to correct tigerr's statement. Left and right are in fact not equal... BP is not a credit card so won't earn a lot of card fee.
