May be the abundant cash people put into the debit card. They can use part it for cash flow instead of bank borrowing n hence can save 5-6% interest. tongue.gif

Only RM10k max per card. How many BP users they are having? And they cannot simply use the trust fund for own use!
You just got a new BP, so 55xx-xxxx-ABCD-xxxx AB is 02 right? (my AB is 01)

I've been doing these sort of credit card games for a while and I can tell you that when you find these sort of venues, the one thing you should do if you want it to last is to never share it. These conduits for near 0 cost of cashback always get shut down eventually because someone decides to inform the public either for reputation or to brag. The venue eventually attracts too many people to utilize it to a level that is unsustainable in cost for the entity bearing the cost.

This is the behavior of some BigPay users after reading the V1 and V2 threads

1. 224+ pages documenting the venue and how to do it
2. Dozens of people bragging about how much money they're loading and withdrawing, along with their earnings
3. Inviting an employee of the company that is bearing the cost, thereby alerting them to spending patterns
4. Complaining to the employee about the monthly RM10,000 credit card load limit and trying to rationalize why it's a bad idea

The case of BigPay is especially egregious, though, due to the ease of how the conduit works.

I like playing CC games not because of the prizes/rebates that I will get, just for fun and boosting up my confidence on some other things.

I am using Bigpay, not because of CC top-ups and withdrawal feature. I had been using Big Prepaid to buy AirAsia tickets before Bigpay was launched, so I wanted Bigpay to replace Big Prepaid for me to buy flight tickets. I had been taking AirAsia flights in 1990s before a loss-making airline was offered to Tony!

Will topup via AMEX be introduced this month? I have exhausted all my cards for online spending and AMEX has quite some quota unused for this month...

CIMB-Lazada prepaid may give 0.5%, worse case scenario.

If the bank didnt make money, they wont give u the cash back so generously and they will cut the benefit subsequently. Bank earn much more $ from those late payments n the 18% interest every month

Yes, we are only small fish, those that owe them money are the big fish, they just keep on attracting people with this type of CB offering to get more fish~

We are one of the 43.6%, minority!

[2017 - Parliament]

Lee said on an average, 43.6 per cent of total cardholders settled their credit card debt completely in the January to June 2017 period, while another 43.6 per cent pay up at least five per cent of the outstanding balance in the same period.

He adds that the remaining 12.8 per cent are cardholders who do not pay even the minimum payment of their outstanding balance before or within the due date.

He stated that there are 3.6 million credit cardholders up to June this year.

Based on statistics released by the Statiscs Department in 2016, he said the figure represents per cent of the 20 million population aged between 20 to 74 years old.

Just like AirAsia flight cancellations or delays in early 2000s, I had choice to use alternative service provider. If I feel risky and inconvenient, then I stop using it.

But Bigpay may have gone too far now, not as simple as Big Prepaid. I just want it to buy AirAsia tickets to save convenience fee, other benefits are bonus.

Switch off credit card top-ups every Monday till December or limit to 1 CC top-up per day, I believe BigPay top-ups will run smoothly.

i'm wondering how this kinda of top up error came from...
is it BP fault or users line not stable?
i didn't face all this issue ever since i got this card since May (touch wood) and only failed once from swiping at merchant Padini but they have quickly reverse the transaction and they got a good team to check and balance with those "failed" transaction.
*
From my experience in the past few weeks...

You top up at 6-7am, so the system is not busy.

The errors, top-up and retail, are usually happening on Monday morning, 8am-12pm. You should know the reason.

So if Bigpay limit 1 CC top-up per day, the system will run smoothly!

I got one SGD20 top up yesterday. The amount charged appeared to be RM 59.62 @ 2.981 exchange rate.

Then just now i checked, that amount has been revises to RM59.83 which now the exchange rate is 2.9915. An upward of 1.05% revision.

I want to ask why the amount can be changed? Is it normal for doing so?
*
Forex rate different at transaction time and settlement time. RM59.62 is just an estimate, RM59.83 is the final settlement amount. Same theory apply to your other credit cards.

If buying a air asia ticket n pay using credit cards gets a message fail. Then pay again. Successful. Later found out that pay twice for a ticket. This sound more scary....tongue.gif
*
You won't pay twice for a AirAsia ticket, don't worry.
Only when AirAsia booking is busy, they will keep you waiting before you can book.

So Bigpay should do the same thing, limit to a number of users at top-up section, and newcomers are waiting outside.

Alright i learnt my lesson.
So all i have to do is verify with PB CS how many successful transactions?

This week rugi RM60, tuition fees to learn from experience.
*
Why rugi RM60, nothing to lose lah, you don't gain anything at your 9th top up only.
It is better to perform 9X than risk to 7X only.

No rugi, just no benefit only.

Who said he gain nothing from the 9th top up? That rm60 still qualify for cash back or rewards points, isnt it? tongue.gif
*
Worse case scenario:

Withdraw RM1000 at service charge RM2 or RM3000 at RM6.
60/1000 * RM2 = RM0.12

RM0.12 insurance to get +RM25 (8X @ RM50 vs 7X @ RM25)

Haha, anyway big point really carry little value, so the most important feature is still cc top up and good fx rate.

Soon it may be known as or can be converted to Big-Coins, so we will mine the coins by top-up, retail transactions or taking flights.
