Cards carrying the brand MC and VISA international are not allowed to have surcharges for their usage. If any merchant wanting to impose this surcharge then ask them to itemise the bill - purchase of services/products and surcharge imposed.  Anyone should reject and report these incidences to your bank or MC/VISA International.

This card seems to be great for transferring MYR to SGD.
Can topup RM 10k then withdraw 3k SGD one shot (has anyone tried?) at HSBC and only charge RM10. Damn worth it.

guys, i'm new to bigpay & just got my card last month. wanted to ask your opinion has anyone used bigpay card in this manner? any disadvantages?

my daughter will soon be studying in Australia. i wanted her to apply another bigpay card & used it in Australia for ad hoc big item purchase, air asia flights or emergency cases. i will transfer the money to her bigpay in emergency cases. i guess it will be cheaper than using a malaysian credit card in australia.

any better approach?

FYI, if you're based long term overseas like me, you could actually change your mobile number in the bigpay app to your overseas number and you'll be able to receive OTP via sms in your overseas sim card. This is useful for making online purchases with bigpay card. When you're back in Malaysia you can easily switch your number back to Malaysia number.

Can you remove the the withdrawal option 4k from HLB Puchong Jaya from first page?
I couldnt withdraw 4k anymore since last month. Now max is only 2k from all CRM machines at HLB Puchong Jaya, and Pusat Bandar Puchong.

Tried to use the card for my hotel payment and restaurant. Both failed.

Today tried HLB Damansara Utama (only got 1 atm), no longer can withdraw 4k, not even 3k, then give up

Then I tried OCBC Damansara Utama, got 2 ATM, both only allow maximum 2k withdrawal

Then I tried SCB Damansara Utama, I tried the ATM with 100 notes (the inner most ATM), there is a sticker said max 3k withdrawal, however, the ATM allows max 3.2k withdrawal

tried to reload starbucks card with bigpay using starbucks website which is processed by MOLPay.
Received error message as below upon key in the card no.

Proceed to pay, receive otp but the payment page logout automatically after keyin otp and no transaction appear in bigpay.

The only benefits is when you have the CC that allow to reload this card and entitled the CB from the CC.

But I don't have any CC that allow to reload this for me to get the CB.... and I don't travel that often.

I have see the history of this card, how long will this card stay alive? His previous sibling, big pints big pay, ezpay all dead.

I just got myself lazada cimb prepaid card (previously known as KWIK CIMB), favouring prepaid card for non-terminal slot sucj as online shopping.

Terminal wave/slot for me quite safe.

it was based on old FAQ. newer copy, it seems, doesnt have this exclusion

Taiwan's bank do not impose ATM withdrawal fee from foreign bank.

Update: I realize different ATMs here in USA has different limit on the amount of cash dispensed. In my uni, there's 2 ATMs(both PNC bank), one which dispense only 25 notes and another which dispenses 40 notes. all the ATM's that i've been to so far, they only dispense $20 cash notes, hence 40 notes is $800. thus it becomes much cheaper if I am to withdraw the maximum amount allowed to even out the rm10 charge by bigpay and $3 charge by the ATM issuing bank.

Ambank Bonuslink....... it is 0.3 point for every RM1 top up.

3 points for RM100
30 points for RM1000

it is equal to 0.3% instead of 3%

How to change Big points account?

Don't need to be same name as BP account. I'm using my wife's Big account.
