QUOTE(zr125 @ Jul 16 2019, 03:29 PM) I think really GG for OCBC. Mine normally will credited next day or 2 for 0.9% but today is the 5th day, they still haven't credited the balance 0.9%. QUOTE(notok @ Jul 16 2019, 04:08 PM) QUOTE(kaitouconan @ Jul 16 2019, 04:09 PM) Yeah, even my spending at shopee did not capture as online transaction. Now, it has been almost 4 days since the statement date. Normally, the 1% cashback will be credited on the same day as the statement date. Is there any official t&c announce by ocbc for cb terms? if not maybe its just late credit to account.QUOTE(zenquix @ Jul 16 2019, 03:55 PM) i still think the reasons (may)banks are springing into action is because of the cycle of (fake) transaction is bad for the numbers / economy. Imagine cards are seeing XXXmillion transactions but none go into the greater economy as it goes back the bank account / card settlement - fees -cashback/loyalty points/air miles. Banks can't even book revenue for the supposedly cash advance transactions. but they are earning the % merchant fee's just lesser later only. The party that lost the money are those e-wallets provider.who knows.. big brother might be the one pushing in the background but not touching the "feature set" of e-wallets so that they don't look like they are crimping on "innovation" i am still using BP not for this circle of debt but solely to absorb unused online cashback entitlements, to be used on transactions that don't normally qualify (retail spending etc.) or large ticket item that normally will max a single month. I personally dislike point cards now after being burned by Maybank's regular "depreciation" policy while (some) do not game the system to the max like other (ab)users, can't deny the few are impacting the benefits for the rest of us - and then they come here to rant bank wont do loss business one. plus sure some will over spend and not able to pay back on time/forget to pay back. Imagine one swipe 10k and overspend 1k, just pay back 9k...bank still charge 99 the interest for 10k.... one mistake will cost us 3~6 months cb value already.... QUOTE(Tigerr @ Jul 16 2019, 11:05 PM) If you need cash flow n the fastest way is to get it thru cc cash advance other than going to ah long. Understand your situation. With bp for your cash adv give u further "saving". Just advise don't go too deep into cc debt. Its difficult to pay back if roll to big. All the best. |

QUOTE(nickocinde @ Jul 19 2019, 10:06 AM) Nop, it attempt the charges in midnight 4am. I experienced once long ago with credit cards with these miscellaneous charge of USD 1 or USD 5. It is definitely a fraud. Now I can see how this Bigpay differ from a true bank when handling customer money. Ok. Just take it as a fraudulent case and someone is trying to get pre-authorization of your card before they swipe with BIG amount. And you got that twice with your bp and cc also. So, my concern is, where you always use your card? only via phone? or phone and laptop, or you never use or online purposes?... maybe you need to check the devices that you use with those cards, there might be leak from your devices that let people steal ur cards information and do the charges in the 1st place. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 31 2019, 02:39 PM) QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Jul 31 2019, 02:42 PM) So far I used my own card to topup my own BP and partner's BP, and wise versa NO ISSUE. Please don't fight to each other ya..both of you got your point.I never withdraw before. The reasons we reload using other ppl card to other ppl bp, even thought we know can transfer from bp to bp is surely due to the monthly quota of bp and benefits of reloading with cc. So far I reloaded my wife account using my cc (but 1 cc I only use for 1 bp acc) have no problem reloading. So...if bp gonna block us...then we will need to find other way. that's it. I don't abuse bp for reload n withdrawal...so, hope can still use own cc to reload other bp. This post has been edited by avinlim: Jul 31 2019, 03:19 PM |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jul 25 2019, 08:42 PM) here's the announcement... and FAQ that come with it.... So from here can see that some of the banks that reduce the cc rewards are targeting the e-wallet abuse - reload > cash out, not because of BNM that reduce the merchant fee of cc charges. https://cdn.hsbc.com.my/content/dam/hsbc/my...ditions-faq.pdf » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(jieGeGe @ Aug 13 2019, 09:59 PM) Guys, Please be careful when withdrawing money. BigPay Settled my withdraw transaction which Bank already rejected the transaction due insufficient fund. Did you get back your money yet?Trying to contact CS since that happen. CS chat in app is useless. All the issues they will ask customer go ask merchant, go ask bank, and submit dispute form. During the chat in app. CS ask me submit dispute form and walk in to the bank. I went to CIMB and bring the rejected receipt and bank staff told that I need to contact bigpay and ask them to report this issues. BigPay ask me go ask Bank, Bank ask me go ask BigPay End up I directly call the phone number behind the BP card. 1 of the staff pick up and said will try he best to solve my issues by these 2 days. Hope he tomorrow can resolve my issues. 3K Stuck there due BigPay system faulty. 1st Transaction 3000 ( 10Aug )- Reject Due Insufficient Fund ( I believe ATM Not enough money cuze I got 9k inside during withdraw ) 2nd Transaction 3000 ( 10Aug) - Reject Due Un-success Authorise 3rd Transaction 3000 (13 Aug ) - Automatically appear and status reversed. I believe bank already response bank to Bigpay reverse that transaction. But somehow BigPay System issues created another new transaction with status reversed and my previous status become settle. Somehow why the settled transaction will charge me RM 3000 instead of RM 3006 ( Suppose got RM 6 ringgit withdrawal fee ) I won't accept they ask me submit dispute form because this is BigPay Internal Issues. Anybody facing this issues before? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(sms2u @ Aug 23 2019, 10:12 AM) nobody found out that any spending below RM50 is no points. Why bother for the points? control to pay exactly at RM50 get you 5pts = 5cents~ the money you spend just to reach RM50 is more that the 5pts values... If got just take. If no just forget... Dont push too hard on life. Also, spending RM99.90 also get 5 point. My comment above is correct, then , big pay might given less point to customer. Sometime cannot control to pay exactly RM50 or multiple of RM50. u actually earn less posint |

People are speculating because they mentally prepare for the thing that may be happen that take all their benefit they currently enjoy will all the cc and bp things.
Its normal for human to have this kind of behavior. But till there is any official announcement, just relax and enjoy what we have now. |
