Being a debit card, they need to act quickly.
I never have issue with credit card before for as long as I can remember. Already had couple of issues with BigPay in just few months gap.
When it's good, it's good but it can be real shit when it is not working.

The thing is, merchant said no payment made and BigPay said payment is successful. 7 days is not gonna work for me just to get conformation. All I need is to cancel it, or BigPay can confirm they can refund back the money so I can confidently buy back the tickets. It's for a concert, so time is the essence.

I suggest to use credit card for high amount. Bigpay is a prepaid card not debit card. Please don't expect they have the same service and features as bank. They are not bank. They didn't said wrong about your transaction is successful. Because their system appeared so. They really can't do anything. If they refund u on the spot, after merchant claim the cash who are gonna paid? This is merchant side issue, if merchant confirm transaction failed, they are most likely won't claim the cash And the cash will reverse back to your card after 7 days. This is set by system, no one can do about that.
If merchant claim that money, u only can dispute to merchant and show your statement your ticket was paid and they either give u ticket or proceed for refund.
Card issuer also need to protect themselves. If we buy anything with credit card or whatever, then we dispute we didn't buy want to claim back our money, the company have to bear the cost. We only can claim back money with card issuer for report card loss. Else refer back to merchant after 7 days if they claim your money.
I met this case with cc before. The solution is I make another purchase, the pending authorise transaction reversed back into my card after 7 days. This is my experienced.
