Price on the high side for its segment. Cx8 price > cx5, both kulim made but 8 lose out digital speedometer.

Is Thai Cx-5 still comes from Kulim factory? I know their KE model was from Malaysia

Where do you send for GB oil change? Any way to do so without SC voiding our warranty? I asked SC, they basically said that it'll void warranty if change even if I do so at SC.

I'm about to place an order for the Mazda CX5 2.5 Turbo soon. Unfortunately, gotta give up my hot hatch for something more practical and spacious as I recently "upgraded" to become a father.

Would like to know if there are any drawbacks to this particular variant? Any reliability issues when it comes to the turbo? And what are some good things about it?

Due to the MCO (again), I won't be able to test drive the car at the showrooms. So my experience with it is as much as I've gotten from watching reviews on YouTube. My wife currently drives a Mazda 3 so I'm already quite familiar with the brand, and to be honest, would've loved to have a CX5 with the updated interior (like the CX30 and the new M3) but I can't wait anymore, as my wife's SA said a new CX5 will likely only come end of 2022, plus it might take years for the new CX5 to be equipped with a turbo engine.

So yeah, any thoughts on the 2.5T variant? I'm going to book this purely out of blind faith. I was actually considering the X70 as well but I think despite all the bells and whistles that the Proton offers, it's probably still not as refined as the CX5. Was also looking at the VW Tiguan Allspace R Line, but the safety features are sorely lacking and it's also more expensive. Another option would be a demo unit XC40, but the interior is a little too small for my liking plus I heard the maintenance is gonna bleed me in the future.

Can be moded. I booked the CX40 but it seems like confirm can't get it by the end of June.

Went to Mazda again yesterday and was told that only 2.0 High and 2.5 non turbo got ready stock and can get in 2-3 weeks.

Is the 2.5 non turbo worth the money? In an ideal world, I would top up to get the 2.5T but now can't get it in time for the SST rebate.

Should I go for the 2.0H or 2.5 non turbo?

Guys 2.0 High 2021 user here(took on feb this year), I noticed rcently when im driving even on 80+ km/h the car is not balance like ayun kinda feeling. What should I be checking and also ask the SC to check on?

I think havent done from the day I got my car as I thought its still new and not much using since MCO. Tyre pressure will take note too.

just got quoted for original mazda wiper replacement (rubber refill only) for RM130 RH + RM85 LH. Abit expensive but i got bad experience change my Honda's wiper to OEM wiper then get wiper judder issue.

According to my foremen, If we do charge the battery on weekly basis; the battery could be last 3-4 years ++ as the iStop battery on Mazda is pretty expensive if compared to others. That's is my whole point if we have such practise of charging the iStop car battery.

was looking at pre-owned model cx5 2.2d 4wd h (kt80) priced at RM138k for 2019 manufacturing year from mazda pre-owned (prima merdu sdn bhd at glenmarie) was told this car was used by mazda management but not sure how true is that. it might be test drive car who knows lol..

Initially I had to wait until automotive factories are allowed to operate again. But today my SA informed me that a customer changed their mind about the colour of the car, and the car is already ready to be delivered. So she offered the unit to me and I took it.

JPJ registration is done online.

My SA is advising me to not touch the sound system because the cutting of any wire will void the warranty. I'd love to upgrade the audio but I'm a bit worried about that...
