Same here. I'll be changing my windscreen next April or May, 1-2 months before my insurance expiring. Haha glad to know someone does the same thing as me thumbup.gif

Wait, why do you change your windscreen? And if you put your tint wouldn’t you have to redo it on your new windscreen? 🤔🤔
*
For my case my windscreen cracked but I repaired it. It's kind of an eye sore but I'm kinda lazy to go and replace it. Plan to do it next year.

As for tint, yea need to redo and it should be covered by the insurance if the amount insured is high enough.

Wow.. that is quick.. I probably will change it in during the next service internal.
Looks like IPM models are not affected.
*
Well..there's a lot of CX-5 and also other models affected. They will ran out of stock soon. So it's better to do it earlier.

Anyone with 3 years service taking the offer? RM2,700 for 4 services worth it or not?
*
I feel not worth it so I am not taking it. But I'll still go back to SC for routine services due to the warranty period.

I went and got my fuel pump replaced. It took 2 hours to complete. Seems no difference than before.

But then I found another issue doh.gif My front passenger (left side) is making some high pitch vibrating sounds which seems like coming out from air con. Lucky I found it right after I start my car AFTER replacing the fuel pump. So I went back in and ask the guys to check it out. Turns out to be the blower having issues. They took some videos and pictures and submitted the claim for me.

Cons of having a Mazda is that there's always these kinds of small small issues. Pros is that SC is usually quite nice and helpful to replace these spare parts without any cost.

Which SC is this bro ? seems nice
*
Mazda Auto Tulin in Kepong. I bought my car from them. It's not a big SC but the engineers there are pretty helpful and nice. Sometimes I would go behind and see how they fix things. I will chit chat with them to understand more. Maybe they found me troublesome cause I kacau them working XD

owner with electric hand brake.. how u guys stop and go? did you release the ebrake first before u step your gas / you guys just step on it and go?
*
If you are talking about auto hold then I just step on the gas pedal and go.

If you are talking about electronic brake, then step on brake, release the electronic brake and then step gas pedal.

mine actually doesnt come with auto hold (KE FL) so i have no idea about how auto hold works (mechanically)..
have you tried stepping gas pedal with you are with e-brake on? Will it auto release for you? if yes, how it different with auto hold?
*
If electronic hold, it doesn't disengage for me when I press on the gas pedal. If auto hold, then yes I just step on the gas pedal and it'll disengage.

haha both of you says different thing hehe.. Duckies yours with safety belt on and put D then step on pedal, the brake wont release? you have to do it manually?

I am asking because i just got my both rear caliper replaced.. previously it was unbalance, when i put on my ebrake.. when i m ready to go i will put D and step on gas, e-brake auto release until lately i found out my left side brake release later than right side brake.. the release is uneven.. what i believe for auto hold is also the same.. instead of having you to pull ebrake urself, if you are on auto hold mode.. the system will pull for you.. when u in D and press accelerator the car will release the e-brake for you.. so you dont have the do manual brake release.. SC said is my driving behaviour that causes the imbalance issue.. thats why i m trying to check with KF users and see how "mechanically" auto hold works
*
Let me double confirm on the electronic brake. I'll come back to you later.

appreciate bro.. if possible try to check for me how does it different for you if you are pressing accelerator with ebrake on (with auto hold vs without auto hold)  icon_idea.gif

thank you very much rclxm9.gif

Hey bro, I've tested both electronic brake and auto hold. They are both the same thing. I didn't realized until now that we can actually disengage the electronic brake by just stepping the gas pedal, gear switch to D and seat belt is fastened.

However, there is 1 difference between both. When the electronic brake is engaged, it grips the wheel harder than auto hold. So when electronic brake disengage by stepping the gas pedal, there's a big jerk. But if you use auto hold instead, there's no jerk.

Hi Guys,

Any good and fast service centre you guys recommend?  Ideally around Kepong/Setapak or KL area. Gonna have my first service next week biggrin.gif

I always go Mazda Auto Tulin SC at Kepong. Not big SC and don't have nice drinks or food but service is good and people are friendly there.
