QUOTE(anon118 @ Feb 2 2021, 11:58 AM) Guys, when you start your car.... First start of the day, do you warm it up for about 20 seconds? Supposed to be good for the car? I usually do warm it up for 20 seconds but then I didn't turn off the air con when I turn off the engine. Also, do you turn off the air cond before you "turn off" the engine? LoL! Sorry, I know it is lame.... but I accept that I'm a noob... anon118 liked this post

Just changed all my 4 wheels to Michelin Primacy SUV 4. Not sure placebo effect but it definitely rides better. Smoother and quieter. melkishi81 liked this post

QUOTE(TYK @ Feb 28 2021, 12:04 AM) QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Feb 28 2021, 12:04 AM) RM1800 for all 4. Inclusive of balancing, alignment, rubber valve and nitrogen gas. It's slightly more expensive than the papan shop at Klang. I changed it at Kim Heng Car Care at Sunway there. Good service and good attitude. Will definitely go back again. QUOTE(rasasayang @ Feb 28 2021, 10:25 AM) speaking of ATF oil, are u guys changing it every interval or wait until after 5 years/100k km then only change to avoid warranty being void? Don't need to be every interval. Could be every 30k or 50k km. If wait til 5 years or 100km I scare gearbox kong already. But that's just my 2 cents opinion. xAmdx liked this post

QUOTE(melkishi81 @ Feb 28 2021, 07:40 PM) How long does your first set of tyres last? And your mileage when changing them? My first set of tyres is the original one that comes with the car haha. I used them until 50k km mileage. It was still in good shape - they still have good patterns but since it's already 50k km mileage so I changed it.I've been thinking of changing mine to Michelin Primacy SUV 4 as well... but of course after they're all set to be change haha QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Feb 28 2021, 09:37 PM) You can check out the Mazda CX5 Facebook group. They have some discussion about tyres. This post has been edited by Duckies: Feb 28 2021, 10:49 PM melkishi81 liked this post

Other than random rattling sound and small issues which covered by warranty, CX5 is definitely a great car. Else you won't see them everywhere on the street hahaha

QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Mar 4 2021, 03:49 PM) Talking about Rim sizes.. i do feel its more quiet and comfortable on the 17” than 19” for obvious reasons. Dont know why but mazdas are plagued with road/tyre noise. My wife previous mazda 3 has the same issue. CX5 also has the same issue…but NVH for sides/engine noise is quite good. Just the road/tyre noise. Maybe changing the tyre will help. Like what I recently posted, switching to Michelin Primacy SUV 4 helps a lot on the road/tyre noise. melkishi81 liked this post

QUOTE(MANU4LIFE @ Mar 4 2021, 05:27 PM) to me the 2.5 turbo is no doubt a very attractive model, but not really necessary for me Same here. Not to mention higher fuel consumption and higher maintenance fees...if not mistaken it's using more engine oil?Not to mention bigger wheel size means more expensive tyres and higher road tax for 2.5 melkishi81 liked this post

I only add on another layer to the front windscreen cause the skytint for front windscreen is so shitty that the heat from the sun burns my balls.Feel like tearing up the Skytint after we paid 2k for it is a bit of a waste Axell liked this post

QUOTE(Brotherjoe @ Mar 26 2021, 08:48 PM) Anyone here bought the extended service for CX5. Is it worth paying RM2700? And have anyone did the fuel pump replacement yet? I still havent received any call from SC. In December SC told me they are out of stock and will call once stock arrive at their SC. Didn't buy the extended service. I felt it's more expensive than doing normal service. I already had my fuel pump replacement. In fact I call SC and got it change even before they SMS me. |

Planning to get it from 3rd party. Just want to know if it is problematic like autofold side mirror issue I got it installed from a third party seller. Has been using it for a year..so far so good albeit a bit noisy than normal. davlee liked this post

QUOTE(xAmdx @ Apr 2 2021, 10:07 AM) sounds like mazda also pandai in holding back updates in the interior. Macam not significant at all..seems like no noticeable facelift for upcoming models I saw in cx-5 whatapps group that 2020 model is 7inch, 2021 is 8inch when they increase 1k to the selling price. Maybe 10inch is the FL model that will be announce later this year??? melkishi81 liked this post
