haha maybe i seldom drive that car. so don't get the pinch.

slightly off track questions, does mazda force all buyers to have this skytint by default for all mazda cars? or is it optional for other variants?
*
It's compulsory. It's ridiculous but this is money sucking Bermaz so no surprises.

Mind elaborating further? Cuz usually it's that they don't offer, so as to protect RV.. sweat.gif
*
QUOTE(kyoshooo @ Jul 23 2018, 08:20 AM)
Mazda give huge discount to clear old stock, RV also drop cause calculate base on the last selling price by Mazda, this info was shared by used car dealer.
*
QUOTE(chuah_ph @ Jul 23 2018, 09:47 AM)
Others brand of car also did that as well rite..
Old model will get 10k rebate....
*
I believe these large rebates is when Mazda want to clear stocks for new generation release. Like how gen 2 replaces gen 1, to clear gen 1 stocks they are offering big cash rebates. In this case I don't think gen 3 coming next year that soon so there should be not big cash rebates like this. There will be of course the year end sales to clear out 2018 stocks but it should be 5-6k range I believe.

Yes, true only for old model when new model launch.
Normally Mazda not even give 5-6k during year end....max u get 1-2k consider good d!!
*
Year end probably be more than that. Plus own commission from the SA. I remember last year I asked it was about 4k sweat.gif

Yup, some from SA...4k quite good price? KL dealer or Bermas? I was told KL dealer can offer more rebate...
*
Ipoh dealer but that was last last year for gen 1. I went and ask on December during the year end sales but was disappointed to hear only 4k as other brands like Honda are doing like 10k++ rebates

Haha. I thought so too but when i consult my SA she recommend me to do ppf on it. And also, i prefer the black panel instead of the taobao cover.
*
Refer to my link above. Can buy and just cover it if you hate seeing the scratches. But if you hate the taobao cover, I've no alternatives already. Don't know if we can do PPF on it sweat.gif

U mean the taobao texture?
*
Initially I plan to buy the cover to protect the shift panel but I like how the raw piano black panel looks like. So I gave up the idea sweat.gif It's very prone to dust and scratches and I have to wipe it frequently laugh.gif

So now it is still raw piano black and not covered?
I tried to clean the finger prints off the panel today, d*mn it scratches the panel even more. It is super prone ro scatches i can say!
*
Wipe with those micro fiber clothes. The one that people use to wipe the car clean after washing.

QUOTE(nebula87 @ Jul 23 2018, 03:58 PM)
Yes, taobao texture.
It blend so well with the Metal & Wood dashboard trim not the leather..  nod.gif
Yes lo...thinking to buy that too..
But first i must experience that piano black panel then only cover it up..  nod.gif

Duckies bro, if you think of buying one let me know, i want to buy also..
*
You can get directly from Shopee if you are not comfortable with Taobao sweat.gif

I gave up the idea already. Prefer the raw black piano panel feel laugh.gif

Wonder why Ninja shades cost so much...I mean i bought no brand magnetic shades from accessories for my Saga BLM, and it also perfectly fit..(just that the 3M dont stick onto my rubber frame, keep failing off)

How to install Ninja shades?

but sadly, my gf said shades are pulling down the standard of the car.. haha
*
Different country of manufacturing. Ninja shades is from Taiwan if not mistaken. Samurai shades which cost 70% cheaper comes from Thailand. Both functions the same but I can't comment on the quality over the long run.

Your girlfriend is correct. I also feel that putting shades are ruining the look of the car rclxm9.gif So I don't use any shades usually. Rather panas and sun light blind my eyes also don't wan use XD Opt for better tint instead.

Well... i was asking about this question few time in the V1 thread regarding on floor mats. Sorry that i need to ask again. I really dont know what to choose. Anyone of you here can share which type of mats you are using? Or stick back with the stock type? Thanks guys...
*
Using stock mats. It's pretty good and comfortable. Previously I was using those cargo type mat and it was not comfortable.

QUOTE(Micfock @ Jul 25 2018, 08:50 AM)
Duckies, mind to share how is the canny cool tint in windscreen ?
-I heard of tint 2layer will be problem which effect the tint quality and easy to tear off.
-Touch n go can go throgh ?
-heat reduce is good quality ?
-Guarantee for JPJ investigation ?
*
So far it's all good and nice. I roll down my window to use touch and go so no issue there but it does reduce the infra red sensitivity since it's 2 layers. My condo's access card is a bit hard to get detected now. Heat reduce is way a lot better than previously. Definitely can pass JPJ as the VLT is 70%.

QUOTE(tehoice @ Jul 25 2018, 09:14 AM)
Findings: cannot use touch screen when connected to handphone via bluetooth, once disconnected it is usable again. can anyone confirm?
*
No such issue..I connect my phone via bluetooth and I pick my songs from the screen. The only condition you can't use the screen is when the car is moving.

This is good already.. Canny Cool does swear that it'll have no issues with smart tag. So I think should be okay. Will use them when the time comes.
*
Do test it out with the smart tag. It does reduce the sensitivity for my condo's access card sweat.gif
