Mate, I think thats the most ludicrous comment Ive seen in a while. It leaves a bad taste in every United supporters mouth. Attitude like that brings a bad name to all United supporters.

Back to the game. I thought Roma went all out. Before the game, I was disappointed Totti was not playing. My principle is, Best 11 vs Best 11. Thats the way to judge teams or for the neutrals to enjoy a good competitive match. But when I saw DDR dispatch that penalty over the bar, instantly I was looking to the skies and thanking the lord that Totti was on the field last night. Having said that, De Rossi put away a penalty at the weekend against Genoa IINM. Wudve been a real thriller if it had gone in.

Nonetheless, Im rooting for Roma to come up tops against Inter Milan for the Scudetto! All the best boys wink.gif Till we meet again...

Udinese vs Roma highlights :

n btw here's a better view of the Doni-Panucci incident. well Panucci is the 1 who screwed it up, but he blamed Doni for that, n Doni should hav reacted in a better way, although its understandable. anyway latest report is that they had oledi make it up n even buy some pizza to offer to the squad as celebration. lol.

Roma 1 - 0 Catania

w00t another nice goal from il Capitano ! rclxms.gif

easy game for us, n we did well. how on earth we didnt get a couple more goals is well beyond me. there must b some force field there. doh.gif

Totti looks to b getting back to form, Antunes n Brighi impressed me in their rare appearance. Esposito, however, disappointed me again.

1 goal lead is not much, but i'm confident that we'll get the job done in Sicily. Forza Roma !

Roma 1 - 1 Livorno

sigh, once again we failed to kill the game despite dominating. Vucinic scored with a header, but Livorno punished us for not being able to finish all those chances we hav. damn they scored with a great FK, n that sux.

the moment where DDR collapse in tears by the final whislte juz break my heart. sad.gif

anyway no matter what, Forza Roma.

Totti 'out for six months'
Saturday 19 April, 2008

Roma captain Francesco Totti could be out for six months after tests showed torn ligaments in his right knee.

Although the official announcement will only be made tomorrow, Giallorossi Coach Luciano Spalletti is certain the worst has happened.

"With all likelihood it is a sprained right knee with damage to the anterior cruciate ligament," explained the tactician.

Totti was stretchered off 39 minutes into today's 1-1 draw with Livorno and rushed straight to the Villa Stuart clinic for tests.

The initial reports coming out of the hospital suggest the diagnosis has been confirmed and Totti will require surgery.

His season is over and he could well be sidelined for up to six months with this serious knee injury.

"I think Francesco is not in good shape and I am rather worried," admitted patron Rosella Sensi.

"It's a great shame and adds to a very sad day. In any case, we will not give in on the Scudetto. I wish to thank the players and the Coach."

Totti: "I'm worried"
Saturday 19 April, 2008

Francesco Totti admits he is "worried" after damaging the anterior cruciate ligament, but surgery is still up in the air.

"I felt a crack. I'm a bit worried," said the Roma captain as he left the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome.

He was stretchered off during the Giallorossi's 1-1 draw with Livorno, a result that effectively ends their Scudetto hopes.

"What do I think about the result? I don't know. Frankly I'm more worried about my leg right now."

Roma chief medic Mario Brozzi spoke to television cameras about the extent of Totti's injury and why he carried on playing despite feeling a twinge earlier in the game
.

"Francesco sustained this trauma to the knee and I looked at it the first time, but it was just a bruise and he chose to play on," explained Brozzi.

"After a few minutes he hurt himself when kicking the ball and so we decided to immediately take him off.

"The tests show a lesion to the anterior cruciate ligament. Tomorrow we will decide on the strategy, but his season is over."

This means surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee is not necessarily going to happen.

They could wait to see if a less invasive therapy is possible, as surgery would mean sitting out for between four and six months.
