Totti most probably wouldn't make it for the Sporting match, so we still hav to rely on Mirko.

alrite honestly speaking i like Mirko, but dammit he is too damn wasteful its not even funny. i know he scored 3 important goals for us during last 3 games, but heck if u count the wasted n missed chances he had in those games, u'll know that his efficiency level is like 10% only.

jose would set him straight

or try play esposito as a second striker so he has someone to play too

but think of it this way at least he is not as bad as adebayour

and how long will it take for the highlights to come out

CL Matchday 4 - Sporting Lisbon vs. AS Roma- 07/11/07

A win will mean the ticket to round of 16, but a tie is not bad. sweat.gif

a win would guarantee the qualification, while a draw would still put us in the driving seat. biggrin.gif

a defeat will make things more complicated though, but we'll still stand a chance.

Sporting 2 - 2 Roma

lol ok i didnt watched the match, but from what i read is that we played like shit : got an early lead by Cassetti, Sporting scored twice, n we rescue a point from a last minute deflect shot. oh dear.

the group standing now looking good for us. i feel sorry for Sporting, but i guess thats football.

Totti micro-fracture mystery

Sunday 11 November, 2007
There is confusion over the extent of Francesco Totti's injury after Bruno Conti suggested it was a micro-fracture to the foot.

The Roma captain limped off during the 2-1 win over Sporting Lisbon on October 23 and has not played since.

An interview with technical director Conti raised more questions over what exactly is preventing Totti's comeback.

"The first tests showed a micro fracture to the foot and it is causing him a lot of pain. He has to be the one to tell us when he no longer feels that," said Conti.

"Until it heals and everything returns to normal, he will continue to be in pain. It is a delicate spot, as it's where he kicks the ball and you cannot put any protection there."

However, the media storm was quickly soothed by the Giallorossi medical staff, who rushed to explain the situation.

According to news agency Agr, Totti's injury is a bruise or blood clot inside the bone of his right foot towards the ankle.

The reason this confusion arose was because he is undergoing the same sort of treatment as would be required for a micro fracture.

The captain is expected to resume running next week and undergo new tests to see how the bruise is progressing.

Roma expect to have him back in action for the trip to Genoa

our match against Cagliari had been called off - officially.

well i dont know what exactly happened, but a Lazio fan Gabriele Sandri was killed when some ultras crashed with the police. apart from our match, Lazio vs Inter had been postponed as well.

we now can only wait for further updates. RIP Sandri.

no doubt Adriano hav the talents n potential. when he's on his day, he's a beast n easily one of the best out there.

but now he is juz a lazy fat ass that got drunk almost everyday.

well if there is a coach that can revive him i bet its our very own Spalletti. look at what had he done to Tonetto, Perrotta, Mexes, n Ferrari.

but still Adriano certianly wouldn't come cheap, not to mention his salary. i'm remain very much doubt it to be happened.

Yup agree on that. Adriano is good when he's on form, but he's been off the rails lately. Something like Cassano I guess, who's at Samp now.
