Hi guys, have been encountering this issue, unable to access PSN network at all. Working @ SG now and using StarHub line, all internet can use, only PSN can’t connect, solved once by calling Starhub to reset IP and all the big hoohaa, but after awhile same problem again, anybody encountering the same problem with a permanent solution ?? Thanks in advanced!

What’s the exact error code ?
Seems like an ip ban.
Did you try to pause and start downloads to get faster speeds frequently ?

Only way is to get a new iP address.

internet is fast
checking at testing all pass
but cannot enter ps store
netflix also cannot
suddenly all cannot today

The error code is on top, the NP-40831 smth one. What would result in an IP ban? Is it from Sony side or ISP side? Imagine I need to call my ISP to renew every week so I can access to PSN that I already paid for a year! T.T

I’m sure you can login.

Do contact Sony via their Playststion Facebook page as well.

Yes, hotspot can enter, but I can’t use hotspot for updating and downloading games.. quota burst in awhile. I’ll comtsct Sony again.. thanks bro

sorry to revive this thread again. i'm facing exactly same problem. easiest solution is to restart the router. however the problem came back the next day. having to restart your router everyday before you trying to play ps4 is really annoying. i'm having this issue for 2 months already. and already try new router and still did not fix this problem.

ask unifi to restart your router from their side maybe

didnt work. already call unifi, they reset port. 2 days after the issue came back. so, one of my friend advice me to change MTU setting in ps4. change from auto to custom, 1480. he said a lot of his friends have this issue and it seems to be working. i am yet to try it. i'll be back and update u if it works.

After I change router my issue was fixed ad... good luck bro.
