Errr... can you rephrase the question? What new dual-core are you talking about?

Intel will released them before 3rd of June.well, the E2160 is clocked at 1.6GHz with FSB800 and only 1MB of cache lo.....the retail price is around USD 80.

The E2140 is running at 1.6 GHZ with FSB 800 and 1 MB cache too.

both of them is lower standard of Core 2,mostly the same, just cheap, lower cache.

and from western review, two of them hit 3.0 or more than 3.0GHz EASILY.

but the cache of 1mb killing it....

and the name is a bit funny, rumour said it will be

from what I heard, there will be no more dual core for celeron rite?

the formal name would be Intel Pentium Dual Core biggrin.gif

Actually this is sort of like the replacement for the Pentium Duo, P4 and Celeron in my opinion. But, with it's capability to OC up to only 3GHz, it's not as attractive as the C2D, which r potentially high at 3.2GHz and above.

For budget users or students, this may seems like a good processor, but the mobo is still on killing prices.

Out of topic abit, the cheapest good OC board, which I just bought is the ABIT F-I90HD, it allows my E6300 to reach 7 x 370 max, can't reach 7 x 400 yet, although I'm using the D9GMH. I think this mobo suits the E4300 more.

So, either couple these new dual core with the Biostar TForce P965 or the Abit F-I90HD or MSI 965P Neo-F. Those r the good mobos below RM 400 which will couple well with the new processors and OC nicely too. hehe thumbup.gif
