LRT has lots of ambient noise. So the IEM is better choice.

hey guys just wanna ask sum stuff about senn hd201.

firstly.. is it comfortable to wear with spectacles on? i've tried wearing sum circumaural headphones and it really hurts after using a while.

secondly.. does it do a good job at noise cancelation ?

thx in advance for ur comments and advise
*
Maybe your specs design are weird biggrin.gif Anyway it depends on your head shape and headphone type.
It will provide some noise cancelling.

That model name does ring a bell. I guess it was that model. That was the first time i tried an in-ear earphone. Impressed with it, but too bad budget does not permit. Therefore, settled for a cheaper alternative. Perhaps if I were ever to get a higher-end mp3/video player, I may consider getting a senns equipment.
*
Did you tried the Crossroads? brows.gif

I have not seen any shops here in Penang that carry this brand. Therefore, I do not have the priviledge to try Crossroads or Mylars although there seem to be the hot item here in LYN as discussed in so many forums. Would really like to audition one.  biggrin.gif
*
Hoo... Penang. I think there is a bunch of Crossroad users there. Anyone generous enough to let him have a listen? laugh.gif

Beyerdynamic DTX-50 vs Mylar XBi vs V-moda Vibe. which is better?
*
That's a tough question, as I sell basically all of them...
Just a note that DTX50 has more thump... It's a bassy Beyer phone...

QUOTE(enCORe @ Jan 29 2008, 09:18 AM)

Looks like your choice is PK3. sweat.gif Oh boy, JUST sold out last unit to one guy using phone. sweat.gif

QUOTE(wlcling @ Feb 1 2008, 10:39 PM)
I don't really like iems (although my only experience with IEMs was the Sony Ex-71 & the Philips HN-60). After moving on to the es-5, off went the EX-71 into the bin (Ex-71 is really crappy in comparison). Are there any worthy IEMs out there in the market? I just assume the soundstage on those things are terrible. I know there are good models out there, but at quite a high price, so maybe if i could spend my money on quality and just sacrifice on compactness smile.gif

Anyway, looks like my es-5 is going off to the bin as well.  sad.gif

...
Because, i just got my es-7 and burning it in now, baby!  biggrin.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

It's quite sad. the Es-5 has a leather pouch, whereas the es-7 only has a cloth pouch? oh well  wink.gif
*
Congrats on the purchase. I guess you are quite happy with it. But what you have tried (ex71 and Hn60) aren't good at all. SQ wise, only audiophile IEMs (e.g. UM2, X3i) are acceptable.

QUOTE(vahn87 @ Feb 2 2008, 02:09 AM)
lol, maybe ur alessandro series + the pouch could make it protable?  rclxms.gif
it is to me at least smile.gif
*
The pouch rocks!!! It's been so many times I wanted to keep one myself but in the end I always end up have to sell them. Now this one is MINE. No more selling! If want wait for next batch hehehe.... brows.gif

I want to buy clip-on headphone that is outside the ears.
I saw Lowyat plaza selling some Koss and Sony models before but forgot which model and how much they cost. In bulk order, Koss Ksc-75 is selling at RM80. Today I saw in Carrefour got sell Philips SHS4702 selling at RM69 and Panasonic RP-HZ56 selling at RM70.
I preference are first comfort and secondly sound quality. Can experts here please give some advice? Thanks.
*
The Audiotechnica clip ons are most comfortable, but they cost you a bomb. Personally I don't like KSC75 comfort but for SQ wise, I have to sacrifice myself a bit, tolerate the pain a bit. Some say it's very comfortable, it depends on your 'head-shape' cool.gif

Unfortunately X3i doesn't fit my ears. My fake CX300 fits just nicely but it is not in good condition anymore. My Zune 80 hasn't reach yet, if the supplied IEM isn't acceptable, I'd have to get a new one.

Budget RM500 and below, any recommendation? Listen to all kinds, from Bach to Metallica.
*
Why X3i doesnt fits into your ears but CX300? Cos the have the same shape...

Fi5.pro is good. Just a suggestion, UM2 is quite near it's sound signature.
Maybe you can read headfi on what's their difference then decide.
