seriously...if ur budget is below 200 for IEMs... i wouldnt bother looking at anything else other than the crossroad mylars...theyre really hard to beat in that price range..

i have the A500 and i think theyre awsome for gaming. positioning and details is excellent. i dont bother using my 5.1 speakers anymore when i game.

although i still prefer my DT990

IMHO.....ur main music choices might not suit the SR60 due to the lack of bass. but its possible that the PA2V2 might help out with that being bassy amp.

personally...id be patient and save a lil more for the MS1. or can scout around for used units as well.

EDIT: i just did a quick check in garage sales and theres a couple of MS1s that fits under ur 400 budget.

the small ones would 3.5mm connectors...

the big ones would be 6.5mm.

no one talks about gaming headphone coz gaming headphones are known to be utter crap for the price. even for gaming, audio headphones can do better. plus, u can use audio headphones for everything and be happy with it. unlike gaming headphones where u 'might' be happy with it for gaming, but when it comes to music ull probably end up thinking the bass is way too bloated, as is usually the case.

best example would be the razer barracuda. for about the same price can get the Audio Technica A500 which has MUCH better positioning and soundstage and definitely MUCH better clarity. only downside is u need to buy a seperate mic. and u can just get a mic around RM20 to suit ur needs. for all u know the RM20 mic oso might be better than the one on the razer.

and of course lets not forget about the build quality. razer = . other gaming headphones also tend to be a lil too plasticky for my taste.

i myself use the A500 for gaming and its wicked awesome

though i dont bother with a mic.

go with either the SHP2700 or the AT T22. mebbe the HD201 as well.

SHP2000 can be comfortable to wear for long periods...but dont get it. i dont like the sound

either get the 2500 or the 2700. but for phillips headphones id recommend the 2700.

never heard T22 before and never wore before.
