QUOTE(Dickong @ Dec 7 2018, 08:50 PM) is it necessary to upgrade the new firmware each time it release. You think software developers and firmware engineers provide update just for suka suka? Firmware / software updates are created to fix bugs & to close a vulnerability If you want to live with the bugs / vulnerabilities in your devices so other people can hack into your network & access your data, then yes, you don't need to update This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 9 2018, 02:58 AM

QUOTE(ulala2 @ Dec 10 2018, 09:00 AM) Any 1 here facing problem with LAn 4 Hypptv ??
Keep pop up mentioned unable to detect internet, lan cable problem. Replace with new workable lan cable still problem. Replace my RT-AC86U with 55U also the same. Lan 4 cannot detect internet. Are you trying to use the port 4 for internet or to watch HyppTV?

QUOTE(ulala2 @ Dec 10 2018, 11:37 AM) However, Hypptv unable to detect internet connection at Port 4. Turn off the HyppTV for 1 minute by disconnecting the AC adaptor but leave the ethernet cable plugged in Reconnect the AC adaptor but let it run at the home screen for a few minutes before you actually open the HyppTV channels

QUOTE(CKC_1 @ Dec 25 2018, 04:21 PM) I'm guessing LAN4 is for IPTV only HyppTV must be connected to LAN port 4 on the router, not the modem If you don't use the HyppTV at all, you can choose UniFi-Business in the ISP profile, this way you can connect other device to the port 4

Possible incompatiblity issues between Cypress BCM43596 chipset and the Broadcom chipset in the Huawei WS880 *Cypress BCM43596 is the Wi-Fi / Bluetooth chipset used in Huawei P20 ProIf other routers can supply 300Mb/s to your Huawei P20 Pro then the issue is with the Huawei WS880 router This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 28 2018, 01:49 AM

I wouldn't advise anyone to buy from Taobao / TMall right now as CNY is coming around so there will be a lot of delays More delays than 11.11

QUOTE(gedebe @ Feb 5 2019, 03:37 PM) hi all, is it still worth it to get this RT-AC68U now, there newer model now like acs 5300 though it is more expensive If you don't have the budget for AC5300, get the RT-AC86U instead of the RT-AC68U The RT-AC86U has faster processor, cooler running temperatures & bigger RAMs than the RT-AC68U
