My parking space a bit rough, i parked in the open under the sun next to cars. My road bike MERIDA have been under the hot sun and rain for more than 10 years luckily no rust since its made from reliable material. I work in the office. I bring multi tools, fiber tape, 3x packs of 700x25 cc inner tubes, cycling rain gear in my bag and compact cylindrical foldable floor pump tied on my bike frame. I have my own video how i commute and how i fix flat with tools in my beg shown below video:
i have never owned a mavic with id360 freehub system so i can't say. are you looking into doing all the maintenance and repairs yourself? i don't think it's any harder to maintain than other factory built wheels. i own 2 sets of old mavics with fts freehub system.
as with other brands with proprietary parts, repairs or replacement not so easy la
