after engine off, if you did not turn off the lights it will be turned off once you shut down the engine.

for follow me, off the engine , after that pull the stalk towards you like you would when you are flashing at other people then follow me home will be activated for 30 secs

Thanks for the explanation. Nice feature for those who reach home at night.

Just got my 1.5Av today.
How many 1.5Av users here does replace a new tinting from shop outside?
Roughly how much $ range? Is it worth to remove Perodua one and install a new one?

Thanks in advance.
*
If you remove the rear windscreen tint, it might spoil the demister.
If you put on a second layer, will they warranty the tint?

Hey guys, just did the 1000km inspection today. Is it normal practice to:
1. Install new hood insulators
2. Not change oil

For no 1 I'm thinking they sogok me, but it's okay la. Not that exp also. Worried about no 2 as the next service is the 10000km one. Shouldn't the oil be changed already?

Also my SC guy fixed the left side rear passenger door rattling noise. Like someone else here, the guy installed rubber and padding.
*
Can show photos of the new hood insulators and the door rubber padding?

Wouldn't be fair if every MYVI is equipped with the pink coolant but mine is water since it came out from factory.
and the damage its already done, how are they gonna warrant this.
I'm getting my car over to the service center first thing tmr morning to get to the bottom of this.

Good thing i saw the sirap bandung post this morning.

Already came back from service center and at the office now.
They basically just pumped out the excess water i filled and replace it with the coolant.

Apparently there was coolant in it all along and my smartass went and fill water on top of it. LOL
*
Earlier you mentioned that your coolant tank is just water since it came out from the factory.
Later you mentioned that you filled with water.
Even after you top up with water, the pink colour will still be there except it will be lighter colour but not until it is colourless like plain water.

The tank that i pointed out was only the top of the tank, there's much more going on below (it's shaped like a flask).
The water doesn't dilute easily i suppose, like oil on top of water or in this case water on top of coolant?  hmm.gif

I know this is gonna come back and bite me,
if you notice the coolant tank is suppose to be half empty with the FULL marked at half which means half tank is FULL.
What i think happened in the past was i thought it was half empty and went and fill it all the way up.

So the top half remains this transparent water but the bottom hidden part was always the coolant.
*
LOL. Coolant and water can mix instantly.
When the engine is running, the water pump will circulate the coolant from the engine to the radiator for cooling.
There will be excess when the coolant is hot and the excess will overflow from the radiator to the storage tank.
After a short drive, you will noticed the storage tank has more coolant there (that is why the Full mark line is in the middle of the storage tank. It has room for the extra coolant when the engine is hot).
When the engine is OFF, and cooling down, the coolant from the storage tank will be suck back into the radiator.
When this happens, the coolant and water are well mixed. It wouldn't be lower tank is coolant and upper tank is water.

it should be pretty quick depending on the current customer traffic.
Always try to get early morning slot, less crowded.

I did my inspection as well as installing the door visor & rear skirting within an hour.
*
Thanks for your reply and advice.
Have to send mine in soon.

No payment whatsoever just yet, but I had already ordered and signed a booking form.
I will only proceed with the bank loan agreement once I have start working at least 1 day which will be in April. (Im a fresh graduate btw)
*
For bank loan, they need your 3 months salary slips.
If you don’t have the 3 months salary slips, you need a guarantor.
Since you are a fresh graduate and this is your first job, the bank also wants your appointment letter from your employer.
The bank will call you to ask you some questions.
The above was from Maybank loan department.
Other banks, not sure what they want from you.

Can you please share how to open and route it through the A-pillar? This is how I routed mine. I outlined in green.
user posted image
I used doublesided tape
actually it wasn't completely blocked.

user posted image
Appreciate if you could share how to open it?
*
I also use the same route as you.
I just use my fingers to pull the plastic a bit and push the wire behind.

I thought it is just a simple remove the old horn and plug in the new horn.
Why need the additional gadgets for the new horn?

Full Synthetic oil can last 10K or if you travel less, you have to go in for service in 6 months interval.

Stick to your budget and get the car you like with that budget.

*
Damn. Buy a cheap car but expensive to maintain the parts.
How much does the whole headlamp cost?
