Should always inquire with a few sales agent from a few other branches to snuff out the best deals.

I went and test drive at the Maluri branch, nice girl with good explanation and everything but no free gift no rebate, nada.

tried my luck with Pandan Indah branch and got a sweet Raytech voucher as well as RM800 rebate and got my car (1.5AV - Granite grey) within a month.
*
Wow. Raytech voucher and RM800 rebate is very good deal.

I will be collecting my Myvi 1.5 av next Monday. I waited for 2.5 months but I don't have anything to complaint as I got a pretty good deal. Things that I got :

PACKAGE A
DISCOUNT RM1000+RM480 TINTED VOUCHER
FREE FULL TANK PETROL
FREE GIFT.

Planning to buy an armrest , rear skirting & door visor for the car. Has anyone have installed a new armrest in their car before ?
*
You have a very good deal.
How do you intend to use the tint voucher?
Do double layer tinting or remove factory tint, put new tint?

Not sure about this yet but after googling, I read that the cheap tints are not very good. Probably I will top up abit & replace the old layer with the new one.

Or probably I will just sell it off
*
If you were to remove the factory tint, make sure the demister is not damaged.
That is the worrying part.

Quite hard to explain...

It sounded like a high pitched noise - n it sounded randomly
*
Could it be the blower bearings noise?
Does the fan speed affect the noise?

Strange how none of the reviewers noticed any tik tik sound. I guess it’s not widespread but enough to have a few come into the forum to complain about it.

Anyways, I’m also waiting for my 1.5 AV silver, booked at the autoshow 2019 with dealer from perodua puchong branch.
Signed loan agreement on 23rd april. Been told 1-1.5 months from date signed agreement. Let’s see how long they take. wink.gif
Anyone in the same boat as I am?

Any discount or free gifts?

I signed the loan on 16 March and still waiting, 1.5 AV Dark Grey..... I booked from a dealer though. Is this the norm to wait so long? Anybody know if there is any Perodua branch that can get car faster? Thinking if I should cancel my order with my dealer...
*
Allocations for dealers are smaller than branches.
So the waiting period is longer.

A few of my friend told me to request to change it.
I'm also willing to pay for the charges incurred.

Do you guys think it's worth it ?
What do you guys think is best ?
*
If you are worried, then just pay that money to change the engine oil and oil filter.
This will be the best solution for you.

Guys I just collected my car today but encountered 2 problems which I don't know how to solve. The problems are as follows :

1) When I unlocked the car & entered the passenger side of the car, I couldn't open the door even when the car door is unlocked. But I can do it on driver's door. What am I doing wrong here ?

2) I'm using One plus 6 with Android 9 but I couldn't do a smartlink with the car. Even after debugging, it is just not connecting. Is my phone not compatible ? How do I fix this issue ?
*
When you press one time to unlock the door, it only unlock the driver door.
You have to press two times to unlock all doors.
I read only works on Lower Android version. Can’t remember which version.

I experienced once that my couldn't start for no apparent reason. Only managed to start on the sixth attempt. That was one time incident. Months later later I brought this up to the SA when sent my car for servicing. He said I need to do the three steps procedure to start the car. I said manual never mentioned such procedure. He said it is better because it is to prevent the fuel pump from pumping too much fuel into the engine if I just press once to start the car.

That's my experience with the service centre.
*
So now you press one time to start or three times to start?

Really? You still follow this routine until today?
Even for key ignition system, I never stop at each click.
Straight slot in the the key and turn it to start the engine.
That was 14 years ago when I saw a Toyota Service Advisor start my Camry.
I asked him why never wait when turn the key. He said no problem.
He didn’t even off the air cond when he start the engine.
From that day onwards, I never off my air cond.
