i can't dominate the speed race before nate denver. only win it.
the enemy zonda keep overtake me, and the target time is not enough for me.

For me the best car for Speed is 911 Turbo...very stable car..From Autobahn to Nevada Highway..
With stage 3 engine the BHP is 67x and stage 4 7xx BHP..so the target time is longer..
In Nevada Raceday, I just need to win 4 from all 6 races..
For 2 short race track, i got >13k points..
For 2 longer race track, i got >11k points...
So..I easily dominated the Raceday

Added on January 10, 2008, 8:59 am911GT2 is good car also la..2nd best car after 911turbo..but the engine BHP are Huge so the target time also shorter than 911 turbo..but that car still a good speed car..

Added on January 10, 2008, 9:09 amconvert the pontiac GTO from drift to drag mode.(if u choose GTO after dominate the super promotion)..
the best upgrade for me:

engine=stock
drivetrain=stage 4
turbo=stock
suspension=stage 2
brake=stock
tires=stage 4
NOS=stage 4

The BHP only 400.so the target time is longer..always got >14k points or sometimes 15k..

guys, DO NOT modify your unlocked unofficial supercars - they will crash your game!!!

i bought the 911 turbo. it is very stable.
i upgrade to stage4 already, why it is sill 6xx bhp?
it drives slower compare to other cars in the speed race just before nate denver. hence, i still cannot dominate. only can win.
but nate denver drives too slow. so manage to beat him.

Aha, how is everybody doing? bz tuning up your cars? that's the spirit!
oh well, i'm sorry i haven't prepared our little Street King challenges stuff...but I got a good news though.

There's a prize have been confirmed...courtesy of one champ that I knew for long time. I bet you guys knew him too. Thank him whenever you see him alright?

Just that...I haven't decide on where or how to give that prize. Will think about it after I get my sleep.

u need to tune the engine...set all to high..
you must brave man..maintain 230~250 MPH speed...that why it call speed challenge..
or maybe u can try this setup..

suspension

shocks and springs all the way right (stiff)
front and rear roll bars all the way left (soft)
ride height all the way right (high)
tire pressures all the way right (high)
toe and camber 1 click right (negative)
caster 1 click left (positive)
steering all the way right (stiff)

engine
both boost values high
cam timing high

drivetrain
1st gear - 3 clicks left
2nd gear - 2 clicks left
3rd gear - 1 click left
4th gear - middle
5th gear - middle
6th gear - middle or 3,4 click right
Final gear-max to right (to get 250 MPH top speed) or 2 clicks left (23X MPH Top Speed)

brakes
default or set brake and handbrake pressure to high.

This setup works well for me...hopes u too
I also use this car for Grip with same setup and believe me this car is rock..bcos u know the Willow Springs, last raceday before Grip King..very challenging one..

u all ply this game with manual + clutch, manual or auto?? with TC, electronic stability control and ABS on??

i ply manual + clutch, TC electronic stability control and ABS all off, it is damn hard to ply, when braking it lock my wheels and cant turn, but i just start this game lar, maybe later in game will be better.

tap your brakes. like in real life even with stage 4 brakes, you can lock them up.

it';s really bad news when you got your brake locked up that you'll end up crashing around. To prevent brake lock up so easy, I pull down the brake and handbrake pressure to about 25% of the bar. In such, I can control the braking force more better with keyboard...
