77 cars ?! The code entry must have something to do with that.
Btw, i finished the game already, as sson as I get my DVD last friday, i start flamming it till yesterday night, almost 12 hours per day, and now I get sick abit cuz over played... -___-" (played on Elite mode, no assists) The boss race is far too easy than I thought, maybe just cuz my CPU slow so they stupid also? Everything cost you money, to save money; don't repair your car after each race, well or can say as, drive safe and fast, don't play dirty or else you will sacrifice your own money. If you lucky enough you may win the free car markers, I got total of 4 of them, and I bought a Pagani Zonda and another Mucielargo, the other 2 i just saved it. And my cash now also enough to buy a Zonda + Mucierlago! Note that of you lucky enough you will unlick secret LVL4 performance parts! Keep Win + Dominate races and you will got some big price to grab. If you use your car correctly the game easilly beaten, I used the following (from earlier to later): Grip: 240SX - 350Z - Zonda (free car marker!) - Lancer 2.0 GT (won from Ryo, retuned) Drift: AE86 - GTO (won from raceday) - RX7 - RX7 (won from boss) Drag & Wheelie: Civic (won from raceday if I not wrong) - RX8 dominate !!! Speed: Nissan GT R35 - Lamborghini Mucielargo (donno why feel suck driving Zonda in speed racing, so buy Mucierlago instead...) Surprissingly even though my PC is suck (bare minimum), the game never crash a bit, just there were once or twice the game freez for a while... Hmm? Overall the game really nice, though sometime the AI still kinda stupid... You might think: why i abandoned Zonda and go Lancer GT instead? Well, kind of I feel Zonda no good enough in tight cornering so I go for Lancer GT. I tuner it's rear tire pressure lower abit than the front so I can simply drift through tight corner... heehee... Some of you claim that the game is still slow, yes it did. Playing speed challenge, even though hit up to 400KHM still feel nothing much. Ah... just gonna work out with my driving skills... Well, after you finish the cereer mode, all repair will go FREE OR CHARGE. So you no need to spent a cent of repairing... means you can bang whatever you want, as long as you don't get totaled (you still need the total repair marker)

So many critics of Pro Street? Yes there are certain small problems that I also not so like it, but they are just SMALL PROBLEM for me.
Let's talk about the interface first, I bet you guys already view many trialers and you SHOULD already familiar with the interface before you even played it, I just don't get it why some people say they confused. Since everything are 'showed' already (unless you got super frame skips.) Let'e talk about cars. Total 77 a person said, default 55, cheat unlock another 5... Where is my favorite S2000 !!! (not critics, just shouting). Car tuning are according to your race mode, changing mode means re-tune the car, abit annoying but it just cost you a minute or two, are you really that rushing to crash your car? Performance tuning are well enough but of course it not good enough. Though, more options available, then I can just tune the car to suit my way of driving. Oh ya, if you donno what the keyboard key mapping for interface control, then here is it (they are not in the control setting): 9,0 = move menu left and right 3,4 = move menu left and right (when they are 2 appear at the same time) I love that the car sections can be paint individually instead of paint it all once. Though the only prob is that there are too little selection for body kits. The rest are fine enough. Performance tuning is really important to got yourself run faster. The most important part in my thought will be brake and suspension settings, stock settings are sux. Game play, many locations to explore, I like it, since these are 'real' world tracks. Japan port are nice, fast and furious; Texas means go shortcuts; Chicago airport means go super fast strerring; Nevada Desert means don't get yourself totaled; the other places just OK. Though I don't think it nessassary to compare the trakcs with the real world one, cus this is just a game afterall. Controlling never been this nice ever. If you feel sux with thte car control, probably you not tune your perofmance settings at all. No matter what the mode is, tuning is important to get yourself on the tracks and race well (also reduce damages and totaled possibilities). Overall ProStreet is far better than any other previous versions (unless you like the cop chasing games). Well there are nothing perfect in this world, there always NO and YES about something since every person got different brainds. Graphic in prostreet I can't really say cuz my PC noob. The SoundTracks are nice than previous several games because we have JunkieXL performing!!! I love their songs. But most songs in PS final game are refined or remixed from original songs. Added on November 23, 2007, 1:38 pmAt earlier stage, you have to buy a drift car by your own. Also in the second section you also need to buy a SpeedRacing car by your own. But no problem with that, just go fo rcars like AE86 for drift and Nissan GTR R35 for speed racing at earlier stage. Ya thouhg playing ProStreet with keyboard is kinda "merugikan". It is better to have streering wheel... Added on November 23, 2007, 1:42 pmMost grip tracks are flat, so I would suggest to have your suspension tweaks to hard (stiff), streerring to max tight, rear tire abit less pressure than front, RollBar all the way to stiff. Brake bias abit to front, brake and handbrake pressure push higher a little bit. Toe all the way to negative. Just don't push the gear ratio too short or you will stuck at earlier gear cuz it will rev abit longer instead... Ah, Lancer GT is faster than Nissan GTR. A car of Tier2 can do wheelie... you need real high horse power to do so. I would prefer you go buy a RX8 and tune to max (all LVL3 max will gove you 700BHp)... and with that you can do up to 250M of wheelie if you pull it correctly...
Added on November 26, 2007, 10:14 amI see many people say NFS suck... argh... Was it just because it harder to play so you guys says it suck ? Nothing too hard if you really have the right skills and the right cars. I can say 95% of the cars in Pro Street are not OK, What you really wanna try out are Japanese Cars instead. Use Viper to play speed raciong is not OK, same for Pagani. Lambo will help you wil it with ease. In grip, Pagani seems to be slow in making cornering because it heavier. But and EVO GT (if you tune it correctly) it can even beat Pagani. Drift is alot more challenging since it REAL, you need to know how to keep your car on the track (hit the wall is no matter, won't cut your score). Since the track is rather tight, where to use powerslide, where to use handbrake, where to use N2O and where to use your clutch is very important to score big. Anyone can beat my score or 9000+ ? HAHAHA I try go over 10000 later ... Speed racing all about going fast and stable. If not stable then it useless even you go up to 400KMH. Pagani can do 405 by default and Lambo 401. Though Pagani seems likely to loose control easilly so I go Lambo. If you really want a very stable car for Speed, go nissan GTR R35, super stable but yet enough for yuo to score big. Drag is nut for me, anyone do 7.4X (1/4), 11.01 (1/2) and 249M (Wheelie) - all with RX8 only ? This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 26 2007, 10:18 AM |

But you guys are using Tier3 cars for drag and wheelie, sure beat my scores lah... My RX8 just Tier2 leh !! Hahaha
During these races if we shift the wrong time the car really gone out of control though... To do wheelie, you must get perefct shift from 1 to 6, wrong shift and sayonara you will lose control over your car ... mostly end up with totaled. This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 26 2007, 11:07 AM |

I'd try out using Viper last night and found it very slow ... not good handling compare to lambo. Well, if you drive lambo you can even makan kacang while you racing (means too easy to win...). Nissan GTR R35 is nice as well, but it stuck at speed 350 around, so it easilly beaten by certain exotic cars.
I like the autosculpt also, because now we can change colour of anything include the decals as well (previously only in black and white). But the only prob is that there are too much less body parts especially body kits, spoilers and hoods. Too bad... But one thing for sure, when wil lthe LAN patch release? I can't wait to LAN party with my friends !!! T_T This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 26 2007, 11:27 AM |

Suspension settings is the key for everything ~~ Lambo's default suspension setting is no good 9same for every other races and every other cars), I tune it around so it run better, alot more better.
Especially if you want to make hard braking during grip racing, default settings will cause your car to flip easilly.... Tune it around and you can even play drift in grip ~~ lol Yup, GT surely better cuz.. .well you cannot compare NFS with GT cuz they both going the different path since the first games. GT ever since GT1 was targeted for Real Driving / Racing Sim, they have more exp than NFS in making things gone realistic. But NFS stated with Arcade racing, Pro Street is only their first try of NFS Racing Simulations, so we cannot blame them anything, at leatst they try to make things better, right? If you really wanna compare than I will say " Even GT3 already enough to beat Pro Street ". And though, did you see any racing games from EA is themed of simulations? I don't think so, so the fact is, they still lack in term of experience of making things realistic. I hope next year they can make things even better. The attraction about NFS is there car modding though that not really appear in much games, especially visual modding. One thing I not like about PS is about the dyno ~ Do you guys still remember the dyno and test track in Underground2? Yes I like that alot, that we can tune and test the car mush easilly. But in pro street dyno is run 'behind' and you only got the chance to real-time-tune-your-car while in practise mode... Hmm, not a very good thing here. Zonda nice for grip, but it might get stuck in certain tight tracks... lol... I prefer Lancer GTR for grip, where I love to drift around... heehee...
Also, prepare repair markers while you driving Zonda, cuz the repair cost is way way way higher... lol. The DJ commentory kind of funny... You bought a new Zonda or Lambo or Nissan GTR or lancer GT it will announce.... "Wow, that's the latest version of Nissan GTR..." ... "Wow, look at that, Ryan Cooper is showing off his new Pagani Zonda!..." ... and "Ouch! Ryan Cooper not just destroyes his Zonda, but also.... No it only 24 of it left in the world!" ... -___-" This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 26 2007, 11:59 AM |

Save your Zonda after you finish the game 100% (cuz the repair cost is 0), so it's time to crach the Zonda very badly .... hahaha !! (I bet the car maker would have their tear flowing out... lol)

I drived Zonda at speed also, but it kind of easilly get out of control with stock setting. I go for a Lambo instead cuz boring driving Zonda since I already have one for Grip.
OK, most of my cars used these settings: - Suspension first 6 settings all go to stiff - Suspension Toe go all the way to negative (increase cornering) - Suspension ride height lower some according to the track - Suspension Streering all the way to tight (faster respond) - Suspension Roll Bar both front and rear slide to the right - Suspension Tire pressure front higher abit, rear lower abit - Brake Bias slightly side to front - Brake and handbrake presure alightly to more pressure With these setting, you no need to worry your car will flip back when you make hard braking... happy driving And eventually with these setting on Lancer GT you can drift with it easilyl through most of the corners in grip races... heehee. But mid that you must have the ultimate tire and suspension, or else these settings might not be good. Cus as you can see I set the brake pressure to higher, if you got lower grade of tire you might eventually got lose control abit. My car's height also very low so so it easier to control and won't flip while hard braking. This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 26 2007, 12:33 PM |

My RX8 at 700bph wheelie all the way even during normal drag ... lol , you must hit perfect shift at gear 1 to get good wheelie.

Yup Evo X got problem at tighter tracks, but it play well at Chicago Airports, Japan Docks, AutoBhand, Texas, Nevada Desert ... Overall it still OK, only 1 or 2 tracks that it not suit for.
If you prefer less understeer, tune the RollBars softer, rear tire pressure higher than the front... |

Dodge Charger 874Bhp - wheelie all the way to finish 408M !!! (a bonus car in multiplayer race day) I felt that Zonda is damn it all heavy while drive in drag race, but in fact is that it it a very light weight car compare to other... wth... This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 28 2007, 11:19 AM |
