Don think it will be rm1500 bah...too overpriced though...if like that people better get a 24 inch lcd..If samsung really want to competite in 22'inch lcd,it will 1st cut the current 226bw price and increase a few hundred for 226cw and this model.

Anyway,this lcd looks really cool than my 226bw!!!

I know higher quality=higher price.

But if u wanna pay 2K for a 22 incher ,which is more thn 2wice the price of my Dell,im hoping it to be twice as good as mine.

widescreen is better for multitasking and viewing widescren movies
22" for rm2k will never worth the money in any case
rather get a Dell 2407, It has composite/S-video input as well, dunno got HDMI or not... but more importantly it is full HD

I donno much bout LCD.. But at this moment ..im thinking to get rid of my bulky 17'' Monitor n replace with LCD to save my workstation.

So what would you guys suggest me to buy? I like Samsung..(d look) but is more expensive right? N what are the things that i need to take note if im going to get a Widescreen monitor.. Will any Games or Software unable to display properly in d LCD? Or will my old graphic Card (FX 5200 i think) support it?

Main Usage : Doing 3dsmax, Photoshop etc... d accuracy of the colour is important to prevent diffr outcome when print out n viewing. Some say LCD colour not as accurate as Normal monitor.. can anyone verify this?

i ordered my dell 22" on the 8th sept and got confirmation of order on the 11th after cc charge go through. quoted delivery on the 24th sept.  wah so long. i thought dell will delivery after 3 days. status of my order is lcd ready and sending to fowarding company. but no update after that dang i had to borrow my lcd from my neighbour and bro. so troublesome.

full HD LCD TV starts from 42" and above iinm, but most of the 42" shown in the shelves arent full HD... no market coz too expensive

at least need rm10k ++ for samsung one

eg, samsung 42" LCD regular : rm6000+
samsung 42' LCD 1080p : rm 12000++

jz bought a 2nd hand dell 22"...
got 1 stuck pixel...but dont care coz its not so noticeable...

Does gfx card have any impact on monitor's performance? I have an Asus 8600GT DDR3, am thinking of getting either 19" or 20" samsung widescreen. Advice please, thanx 

Actually 22" is the best desktop monitor size for me.. But just current 22" are all TN panel.. There's some better panel on the way ..stay tune..
24" with 1920 x 1600 resolution just makes the text looked too small

how do i install the driver?i inputted the cd however cant seem to locate the driver....

but most probably the driver is outdated...

from other forum website a ppl told me tat,
he told me to get the driver from dell website,
but i cant get one too,
there just left 27" and 30" lcd monitor driver...
