Mine lasted at least 1.5yrs... yeah, got the same remark from my workshop... changed to one size bigger.

Yes, the battery is smaller size compared to other model, wondering why. (Cost Cutting?). Anyway, my salesman said, when approaching 12 months, just test whether the battery still in good condition (using some battery reader meter), if no, quickly claim warranty wor .... Cause battery got 12 months warranty only. Outside battery easily can last at least 2 year, this original battery only last less than 2 year is unacceptable. ....

Maybe it's the auto head lamp, use too often ? or other feature dranning our battery faster than usual? rclxub.gif

Yes, needed, as the design of the center feel a bit cheap, so every time I pull the lock, make sure the lock didn't touch d center. But for me is not end of the day.

After I re checked my lock this few days, actually the Sifu installed properly, no blocking issue. Happy with it.

Stock battery is NS30... I changed mine to NS40L.

Yea... think the auto headlamp is the main culprit... I usually manual switch it off after parking instead of leaving it to go off by itself.

the holder is at the in my trunk, so can install it back if i want to.
you know theres always a debate about changing the battery while the car is running?
Some say that doing this might risk short circuit some electronics, some say do it so that to avoid losing ECU configs.
Anyone any thoughts?

I've not tried changing battery while car is running... yeah, I've heard it's either short circuit something or you get electrocuted... haven't yet to try and I doubt I ever will...

I guess our ECU the most, will re-learn again rather than we completely lose all the settings... it's been a few months now and so far my car is running well without any hiccups...

Yes all you need to do is drill a hole on the armrest cup base to match the original screw holder location.

I heard about Geneo lock but most of the recommendation is either locktech or aorto thus going for locktech as many of the car accessories doesn't carry aorto lock.

Locktech does not block the leg when driving and you can't see it from top view when it is not in lock mode.
*
aorto lock ...just asked my area ...kulim ...rm450 ..
lockTech should be cheaper ....

btw..this is the only lock with LED light at the key hole ...isn't useful during night time ?

thanks ..
