Hi izwanikhsan,

The unlimited calls & SMS valid for domestic mobile/fixed ON-net & OFF-net usage (excluding video calls, calls to chargeable 1-300/1700/600 numbers, and calls to TM100 or 121). Do refer https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plans/hotlink-postpaid.html under FAQ for more details.

I also have another question, I'll post it here rather than making new post.

I read your T&C @ https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/tnc/plan-serv...d-flex-tnc.html

So,
High Speed Internet Quota only apply to 4G/LTE only?
Non 4G/LTE like HSPA+ cap at 64kbps (8KB/s) or Full Capable Speed with Quota?

Hi Anime4000,

We does not limit the high speed internet usage for 4G only. You can still use it under H+/H/3G/2G without speed capped as long as the quota is still available.

Hi fkinmeng,

We are sorry, we do not understand on your question. The usage / block will be count based on your usage. For example, if you download/stream a 10MB video file, 10MB will be deduct from your quota & etc.

Assuming I subscribe Rm30 + Rm10 (3gb auto renew) which sum up rm40 with 4GB of data.

Can I subscribe non recurring rm10 (3gb) for consecutive 2 or 3 times one shot ?

Say 1st September, RM 40 with 3GB auto renew pass. Then on the same date, I keep buying another rm10 for 3gb one time pass and another time rm10 for 3gb pass which sum up total of rm60 with 10GB data as a whole. Can it be done that way ?

Hi Maxis,

I recently subscribe to Hotlink Prepaid and would like to change to Hotlink Postpaid Flex. I was given different information and want to get clarification on the time length I needed to wait before I could change. The Maxis Centre @ The Gardens (Mid Valley) have told me that I needed to wait 6 months before they would allow me to change from Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Postpaid Flex. I was informed earlier from another source that I only needed to wait 1 month which I inform the staff but they insist that the policy is 6 months. I have gotten further feedback from your Maxis Twitter Hotlink that I only need to wait 1 month.

So now I wondering if each Maxis Centre is allowed to have their own policy on this matter as I'm worried that if I were to go to another Maxis Centre, they could instead tell me that they could have a 3 month policy or 9 month policy for changing to Hotlink Postpaid Flex since The Gardens Maxis Centre is allowed to have their own policy about this.

Thank you.

FYI, maxis pyramid also mentioned 6 months period if you are from hotlink prepaid.

But it isn't stated in the TNC i think.

The New Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus 60 Plan Offers Vivo Phones For As Low As RM 1

Hotlink has introduced a new plan under its Postpaid Flex family called the Flex Plus 60. Prior to this, there were already two Hotlink Postpaid Flex plans in the market including the Flex 40 and Flex 30.

Priced at RM 60 per month, customers would receive 10GB of Internet alongside unlimited calls and SMSes which were standard features for Hotlink Postpaid Flex plans. Additionally, they also can choose to add Unlimited Social, Unlimited Music, and Unlimited Chat packs into their plan for an additional fee.

Aside from the bigger data quota, another major factor that separates it from the previous Postpaid Flex plans is the fact that it is the only Postpaid Flex plan that offers phones. While there are only two models available with the plan, the price could be quite attractive to some customers out there.

For example, the vivo Y85 which currently priced at RM 899 is being offered through the plan for just RM 199. On another hand, there’s also the vivo Y81i which is being sold for RM 499 at the moment can be obtained alongside the Postpaid Flex Plus 60 plan for additional RM 1.

However, do note that these phones come with 24 months contract. To learn more, check out Hotlink’s official website or visit the nearest Maxis Store.

You have to do it the long way.
1. Switch your Postpaid to Hotlink Prepaid.
2. Stay with Hotlink Prepaid for at least one month.
3. After one month, go and switch your Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Flex.

I asked Maxis Center in Sunway Pyramid.

The other option is to Port out to other telcos.
This option is more inconvenient and TAC from your bank might not work.

actually, if you are just receiving call, you don't need sll, or bagus WM, you need SLL only if you wanna make outgoing call. rm33 is cheap, but if your card is top up $10 can extend 90 days, it is better off just get without bagus WM. end of the day, 30$ already get you 290 days, and that is not counting the 30 days of your active periods.so basically it is top up 3 $10 and you get 320 days of sim card life. with $30 that can be used to buy credit validity. see the difference now? rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

haha. I got the point but hotline rm10 only valids for 10 days. This is the reason why I opt for rm33 365. And Bezos I almost never make any outgoing, my credit balance inside is only rm10+.

Even celcom pax also has the same validity period.

Other telco considered at all, becos I only can accept maxis or celcom. tongue.gif

haha, ok, here is the thing, validity mean = active ( can make outgoing call) and what I mean in validity in my post is actually not active, can't make call but the number is still valid, so you won't lose your number, but after a certain period of day, if it remains non active, it could be dead, and there is nowhere to get your number back already.

so for different telcos, with their different prepaid plan, you validity period of 30 days, 50 days and 90 days. i know maxis is 30 days, yoodo is 50 days, digi have 50 days plan and 90 days plan. these are all validity period. not active period. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

yeah. tongue.gif

understand what you meant.

but a bit troublesome to keep track. since it is about the same price. rm10 x 3 vs rm33.
it is safer to do the 365, since it can auto renew after 1 year also as long as there is enough credit.

They defined it as a "call centre number". My perspective of view: there are many hidden definitions with this plan to whether grant user an unlimited call or otherwise.

Hi all,

previously i was using maxisone 188 plan
after more than 5 years been using the plan, decided to change to Yoodo which is under celcom (wanna control monthly commitment). but realize that the coverage of Yoodo at USJ is very poor.

after that switch back to maxis but took Hotlink Flex 60 which is 10GB data (I have unifi at home).
happy ever since.

Hi noien,

Multisim is available for MaxisOne Plan (Except MaxisOne Prime) and it's only for data sharing. If you make calls and SMS from your Multisim (Secondary simcard), you will be charge at pay per use. Hope this clarifies.

Maxis,

If I am a new user, can I choose a specific number (if it is available) for Hotlink Postpaid Flex plan. If yes, is there an option to choose the number if I sign up through the website.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest.

If you have an active device contract for your mobile number and would like to add a new device contract, you can either make penalty payment to remove current contract or wait till your contract ends.

We do not have option of adding another 24 months device contract on top of current active contract.

Hi westlife,

Hotlink Postpaid Flex combines the best of Hotlink Prepaid with the convenience of Postpaid.

You will enjoy:

-Unlimited calls and SMS
-Worry-free Internet usage with NO pay-per-use charges
-Unlimited Internet for your favourite apps

You may refer here https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/hotlink-postpaid-flex/ for more details.

Hi w'lock,

I am happy to hear that you would like to upgrade your plan to Hotlink Superrr or Hotlink Postpaid Flex however regret to inform you that internet reward pass 2GB from 1AM to 7AM will not available for both plans.
With Hotlink Superrr, you may enjoy more Youtube when you buy on selected mobile internet passes or you may also add on more data pass when you sign up with Hotlink Postpaid Flex service.

Besides the Hotlink Flex app, you may also make payment via online banking or you can register a direct debit for that particular account.

Hi Maxis Team,

If you're reading this, I've been having some issues getting the SMS TAC to my phone for the past 1 or 2 months until now. I'm able to receive SMS TACs from other apps like Maybank, HSBC, Lazada, Shopee, etc. I've contacted the customer service hotline twice during that time but it seems like the issue still persist. The phone I'm using is a Nokia 8.1, btw.

The odd part is if I use other phones such as a Lenovo Vibe C and an LG V40, I'm able to receive the Hotlink TAC just fine. Not sure if the AndroidOne updates may have affected the settings on my phone somewhere. hmm.gif

Is there a way to fix it or do I have to reset my phone to see if this will work or not?

Hi DesRed,

Kindly try to check the Premium SMS Setting is been enable on your Nokia 8.1 since you are able to receive the SMS at other mobile phone.

Thanks for the response.

Went to check on it in the settings and saw that it was already enabled.

Still cannot receive any SMS TAC when I use the Hotlink Postpaid app.

To add, I have restarted my phone and tried switching between the Microsoft Launcher and the original home screen to test it out. Didn't work either.
