using z610i since donkey years ago and love it very much but since just now, it keeps giving me probs, keep auto shutting for no reason, really really scared. Not sure what's the problem T.T

ribbon.same like my friends issue.even if she changed the battery, it still auto shut down when making a call..the ribbon died.

okok. so far since i restart again yesterday no problem, no more auto shut down, see how long it last then only maybe i take go repair. this month no more money =(

Guys, after 2 years me moms z610i finally having probs, she keep asking me why the phone shutting down on itself. i tot it was due to dirty batt contacts but the prob still occur after i cotton swab'ed em.

n reading from here ithink its pretty common for z610i eh? any solutions?

the physical of this phone is still too great looking to trade in for something else, plus no software prob or lag what soever. n i just saw one for sale for rm799

maybe u can try reinstall the latest firmware

but as i stated, no prob with the software , its run same as i tested as i bought it for me mom 2 years ago.. amazing stuff.

maybe hardware related?

anyhoo, i try upgrading the firmware, never done that since bought it

let me revive this thread. I still have this phone, but now it is my spare phone. If i really sell it, i dont think its worth more than rm 200 too~
and yeah, the ribbon prob is bugging. a pity to a nice looking phone. ahh the golden days where everyone would look at u when u flip it up n talk.

are there any phones out there with similar sleek designs clamshell phone such as this one?

say..even crystal casing is getting lesser and lesser for this model nowadays..i just bought 10 units for my gf coz she is a clumsy owner.sigh..

saw someone revive this thread, so here i am, i'm still using this phone after i think 2-3 years already. Planned to change one but can't find a nice se flip phone around anymore.

Anyway regarding the phone shutting down itself, i havent experience it myself, but i roughly know what causes the problem. It might due to the contact between the phone and battery not that tight, probably due to long time using and frequent dropping the phone on the floor

I got no idea on that, but i just got my phone skinned, about rm50. Looks good for few weeks, after that scratches all around the phone

HELP!what should i do with the phone cant turn on and only show white screen only?

Send to handphone repair center, maybe need to reflash your handset, is about RM15.
Or maybe a ribbon problem.
