Hi, I'm looking for a basic 55inch 4k tv for my living room, upgrading from an old Sharp 40inch FHD tv. Basic because I already have tv box (xiaomi mibox s) and also astro. Budget around 2k (is it enough?). Also I want to ask if Astro connect to 4k tv, will it upscale? Will it look good or weird? As far as i know Astro is only FHD resolution. TQ.

generally build in USB for UHD TV nowadays can read MKV file... but there licensing issue with audio file whether the TV company buy DTS/DOLBY licenses...also subtitle will be an issue as limited to certain type of subtitle will be displayed ...

in my case OLD Hisense UHD restart for the 1st time when play 70++Gb MKV file... then can play...but certain audio file cannot been play through due to audio format...subtitle also have same issue.. Sony TV try can play.. but just try few file only... coz got media player.. the best solution is to get medium range media player.. so can read un/less compressed MKV file..
