Me too. I have shortlisted 55" GX800 & X8000G. RM600 price difference.
Still thinking. Will pull trigger next month huhu

A good option is the Samsung NU8000 from HLK. They have a few units left. RM3k+-. I can pass you the contact number I got from @daijobu if you want it.

For Sony you can get the X85F(business model) from a forumer here for less than Rm4k.

For Dolby Vision, the Panasonic GX800. Rm3.7k+- from Lazada.

I go desa home theater kepong just now. Impressed by NU8000, but they only left display unit, IIRC 3.8k
Other 2 good alternative I saw are LG UM7600 and Panasonic GX740k

Can PM me the contact ? thx biggrin.gif

Side note, not impress by Hisense 58B7200UW ( 58" Android TV ) but saw rm2.1k only, should I compromise and save some money ?

Maybe, but only if you’re looking to get the latest model. If not, go for the NU8000 at HLK for rm3k, older OS but better brightness & panel performance. Not sure if any stock is available tho as I’ve given their contact num to a few forumers edy.

Looking at it for the PC gaming performance mostly. Pretty OK reviews at rtings.com (low latency, VRR and native 1440p 120Hz).
And yup they compared it to the NU and gave the same comment, on HDR brightness.

edit: Most likely will just wait though. Not really "needing" it. My current LG LA7400 is just fine 1080p @ 60hz.

Yeap this from online reviews

* The brightness and contrast of the image in the RU8000 TV model is worse than the NU8000 (peak brightness = 370 vs 800nits). Approximately 20-30%. This is probably due to the fact that the RU8000 model has a different screen matrix (with a color depth of 10 bits).

*According to rtings.com, NU8000 has local dimming, RU8000 doesn’t. Although the local dimming on the NU8000 received a really low rating on the review.

* The sound in the RU8000 model is much worse. Samsung RU8000 comes with 2Ch 20W speaker system while Samsung NU8000 comes with 2.1Ch 40W speaker system. (although most people use external speakers / soundbar)

Hopefully everything gathered above is accurate, correct me if I’m wrong!

Back again to ask, saw LG 65UK6500PTC 65" with Magic Remote, rm3799 ( lazada )
Saw rtings.com review for UK6570 ( US model for UK6500 ? ), seems like not bad consider I did like Magic Remote as my friend demo last time.

Bro @faezfarhan how much actually you got 55" nu8000 from that guys...i call hlk yesterday they said RM3999 is the best price they can quote me....how come that guy can give almost 1k discount for a brand new nu8000?

Hi tech sifus. Looking for 55" tv. I have 2 in mind
Sony X7000G
Samsung RU7200 (which i think is only available at Senheng)

X7000G was recommended a few times in this thread, but I hardly see RU7200.
I have compared both at the store but cannot decide.
Salesperson said a lot more people claimed warranty with Samsung Tv but I presume that is only because samsung sells more units than Sony.

Any thoughts please. I just want a good picture quality tv for netflix most of the time. So hard to find comparison on the internet

I donno if it's you guys and/or LYN forum influence or not, today I went Harvey Norman and Aeon midvalley asking NU8000, got another dude asking also laugh.gif Aeon got one display unit though.
