IMO unless you're really diehard fan of certain franchises/games, Collector edition of games ain't worth it
as the name implies, it's for collector only, the value will decrease significantly after a while, there's no way you gonna recover back the original price you paid for it if you planning to sell it afterward

after a while you might be thinking to yourself, why the heck I paid 1k for that piece of space hogging junk in the first place?

Anyone getting the Collector's Edition? RM 1k. Tempted to get as I'm a very big hardcore RE fan since RE 0 - RE 7

I let go my preorder. IMO too expensive for the contents. Just the figure is worth the keep.
Not even a steel book for that price...if u check the EU content it is more attractive though price is higher a bit.

Getting the normal edition doesn't make you any less of a die hard fan bro.
Personally, if they had included Claire's figure that would make it worth. I'm actually more interested in steelbooks.

Seems like there's also an EU version of the Collector's Edition. But it also seems to cost more, probably due to having extra items like the steelbook case, 4 RPD keys, and pin badge, as well as the soundtrack being on CD instead of digital.

I would be a bit hesitant to get the CE if it was me la.. because Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite CE... that easter egg

New trailer from Japan. personally, I kinda prefer the voiceover from jp, sounds kawaii.

I like that the new trailer shows some new scenes. Not that I have anything against the JP voices, but for some reason to me the Eng voices are more appealing. Maybe it's because I find them more natural in this game's environment and also the cast have been doing a good job so far. Still I'll probably switch to Jp voices in a subsequent playthrough just to try it out.

yeah, obviously english voiceover sounds more natural with the western faces, but since they no longer use the old voice actors, I have no qualms with trying different voiceovers. Plus, the emotive japanese voice seems to suit the horror scenes better imo.

Thank god for new voiceovers. The original RE2 was bad.

Would play Japanese voice over as well, but that's not to say English vo is not good. I think both are fine at this point. Looking at the level of production.
