I used to put electronics in open air to dry up as much as possible, and if still have problem i will Seal them in Plastic Bags and put them in the freezer.

After 1-2 days it should be working if the circuit hasn't been shorted. Works on phone displays too.

I have a fren whose N81 gone kaput went his phone dropped into the sea. He dried his phone but few days later, metal parts of the phone started to oxidize. Only later then we heard that if a phone drops into salty water, the best bet is to dip the phone in distilled water to wash out the salt. How true is this? Has anyone tried this method before?

" dropped into the sea" first thing is to take out batt and wash with lot of water!!! salt once slowly dry, it become very-very salty till turn into crystal

My w810i dropped in water few weeks ago, after letting it dry for 3 days, it's working! Functioning normally.

Just wondering my phone can last for how long before it die... rolleyes.gif

Nice sharing dude. Rated for you as GOOD thumbup.gif

Push this thread up so that people can see it and make useful of it.

My brother spoiled his 8310 a few years back which cost him 1K+ the price at that time. cry.gif

The worse thing was there is a sound clip recorded from my mum which we can't recover it. SAD case.

My mum already past away and that is the only "lively" thing that we had as memory from her. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Thanks bro! laugh.gif

Lg KU990 went into washing machine. For a very very very long hour. Went through the whole process literally. Heart dying pain now.

touch screen + all those function. I wonder the touch screen can survive this.

Lets see what is the outcome after 1 week.... hmmm..
