As long as the Teh ais does not slip into the holes/ports of the phone, it should be alright.
But if you wanna be safe, take out the battery/memory card, seal it with some silica gels or a thirsty hippo, or bury it in uncooked rice overnight.

I dropped my Motorola L6 into a sink full of water. Was able to retrieve it out of the water quickly (in a few seconds). Opened up the case..saw no water in it. Dried it for three days and put the battery back on after that. It worked again until today. Using it as a spare phone. Was I lucky or does the phone have built-in 1 M water resistance? sweat.gif

Hey, the last time I experienced dropping a phone into a drain... The ways listed at the front to dry your phone? I've tried em', but the smell from the dirty stuff that flowed into your phone doesn't go away, any way to solve it??? laugh.gif

I dropped my Nokia 5300 into a toilet bowl (yeah.. the one you shit in!!). Luckily got no shit but took it up, wash with water. Remove all parts. Put inside the car, but not under direct sunlight for 1 week. Wah lah... everything as normal.

Smell wise, not that I can smell anything but psychologically you will have all the shit next to you wink.gif

Hi,
.
Hope you can help me out here…got a P910i sony ericsson and it went for a swim. Left it to dry as per recommendation and left the phone alone for 2 weeks!!!..hahaah but it was okay and glad I resisted to check my phone then, since it can switch on after…..
.
But yesterday I tried to switch the phone on again, then nothing happened…tried to charge it as well but nothing happen, no lights, blinking etc. suspecting it to be my battery but even with/without out battery and plug the charger phone still cannot switch on.
.
Anyone can help??? Also would be good if anyone can advice me how to retrieve back the info on the phones i.e. numbers, pictures etc….any shops specialized in this and how much would it cost? Anyone has done this before?
.
Thanks
