A display unit for RM6k .

MU7000 is a decent TV , but you are better off spending a bit more getting a new 55/65 inches NU8000 which is better in every aspect.

That's the 2017 model , with the 2018's picture
Exactly what I was talking about in the previous posts .

The QLEDs from 2017 are very underwhelming TVs despite of all the hypes and prices .

Top up $1000 more you can get the 2018 version.

Actually I plan to buy from go shop too. I need your advise.

1. How do you find out the seller from Ipoh? When I phone call the Go Shop, they said seller is Samsung and not a retail shop.
2. When they deliver, is the box sealed well? Is the TV in perfect condition? I want it fully sealed and never open by anyone else.
3. Do they help to install? Or just deliver only?

Thanks in advance.

Yea NU7100 is the basic 4K TV of Samsung for 2018.

As for the other options you have several choices.

The NU7400 is like NU7100 but comes with an extra feature called Wide Color Gamut , which can show more Vivid colors when playing HDR content. If you don't watch HDR content this feature is useless for you.

The MU6300 is a 2017 Samsung Basic 4k Model , it is pretty much like NU7100 but slightly brighter , has better remote controls / voice control . It has been discontinued but you may still find some merchant selling it .

Since this is a Samsung thread , I really shouldn't recommend models from other brands here

As mentioned in my last post , NU7100 is the successor of last year's MU6100 / MU6300
MU6100 is the basic 4K TV of Samsung from 2017 , the MU6300 is the same model but with a curved screen design.
NU8000 is Samsung's 2018 MID Range TV .

If you ask me , it is currently the best Mid-Range VA TV you can find in Malaysia .

It comes with a good amount of features such as VRR supports (which is Free sync for AMD / Xbox) , WCG , decent brightness across the board, an edge-lit based Local Dimming system etc etc . However , most of the features are related to HDR . If you don't watch HDR content much , I suggest getting the NU7100 or MU6100 instead.

If you are looking for better out of box color accuracy , do consider the Panasonic FX600 , which is also a great choice .

Yep , I know it sounds silly .

Beside the steam link feature & slightly lower input lag , NU7100 isn't actually better than MU6100 / MU6300 .

There is also something to be noted , the NU7100 does not supports WIFI 5 GHZ , the MU6100/6300 does.

That's very counter intuitive. People would assume a 7 series better than a 6 series.

It is a basically a device that connects your TV with the Steam client ( a game platform ) on PC , so you can display PC games on the TV screen.
