Having owned OLED for 5 years now, since the first gen release and recently purchased a Q7FN QLED, I must say all that was already said about the 2 technologies are true. OLED is great with contrast & black level. QLED has awesome brightness (HDR) and color. With HDR going mainstream and to me game changing, I am biased to QLED. Watching HDR on OLED has no oomph
And I wouldnt worry about OLED burn in...my OLED still looks like it is when purchased with no sign of burnin.
And also agree Samsung pricing is shit. Never buy at full price. I have been eyeing Q7FN for almost a year before purchasing at clearance price.

May i know where did u get the Q7F, cause ive been searching everywhere for it.

hi samsung sifu.. i plan to replace my old tv with 4k tv.

last time i saw this model 50in NU7090 and the quality of image and motion really cun.. but i just know NU series is 2018 model, and RU will replace this model. but

is it just me that i feel RU series is downgrade version?

shud i just ignore the sales person and buy NU? or take the 2019 RU?

just buy 65inch nu8500, upgraded from 55inch mu6100..

now i cant go the channel number via my Samsung smart remote (NU8500)..previously, i can go to the Astro channel number both via voice command or key press with my Samsung smart remote (MU6100)..

Does anyone know how to resolve my problem?

yes, for me it not worth... picture looks blurry.. maybe because its 65inch.. my mu6100 was 55inch.. Astro HD seems like SD.. SD looks like 3GP video.. 

After months of rumors, Samsung may have given its so-called 'Project C' the green light. In October 2018, the CEO of Samsung Display acknowledged that it was developed 'QD-OLED' technology. Project C is an investment plan to achieve mass production of OLED TVs.

Samsung Display has now halted production at one of its two 8G LCD TV production lines in South Korea. The line has been in operation since 2007 when Sony and Samsung created S-LCD to jointly produce LCD TV panels. There are two lines (8-1 and 8-2) each divided into phase 1 and 2. Line 8-1 phase 1 is the one that has been shut down. Samsung is expected to also shut down the rest of the 8G lines.

Samsung has announced it is outsourcing its production of LCD panels to TCL and in gratitude TCL decided to compete with Samsung's QLED with its own QLED range and a future Mini-LED. With China now potentially fully entering the OLED market courtesy of LG providing them with production over capacity and open-cell technology it will be almost certain that Asian manufacturers will eventually be exploiting OLED for all its worth, even if their products are less capable and sold mainly in the Asian marketplace.
Samsung found themselves with a product marketing lag that needed filling, letting LG get the commercial jump on them with OLED tech was at first a manageable choice while LCD panels kept selling in large numbers and while QLED had big dollars spent on advertising and paid reviews by professional AV sites, the 'no burn in tag' was a clever PR stunt. Overall the decision by LG to make cheaper OLED's is the motivating factor in Samsung's corporate decision to challenge LG in a possible OLED race. I guess the next stage of this OLED race will very much depend on Samsung's competitive spirit and whether its version of OLED is technically better and more capable of being further developed into a cheaper product into the future than LG's product, whether Samsung's OLED will be less prone to burn in may not be quite the priority potential Samsung consumers may hope for, making money and keeping ahead of LG is what it is all about.
