using speakers? best to play with headset, you will know when u r getting shot and also the location where the shot is being fired from.

Do you still play it? Which server, yea i get one shot KO , but sometimes still can kill, it just the team arent winning objectively

yeah, took a 1 month break because of some bug issue where my mouse pointer was stuttering like mad and not playable. came back after 1 month and so many new things to try.

This game is not about racking alot of kills, its all about holding/fighting for objectives but alot of ppl prefer to just kill kill kill.

there are times where you see a deadlock where everyone is fighting non stop in an area. I just hop in one of the taxi trucks and drive all the way to the other end. Players will automatically spawn on ur taxi and capture points that''s far away from the hot zone. you dont need to get off the taxi or cap a point. your role is to allow your team to spawn on you. its a mobile spawn point
that will throw the opposite team off balance and they will start spawning at areas far away from the hotzone and that will allow ur team to push forward. Sometimes gotta sacrifice some fun from killing to win the game.

Playing on 5.1 speakers or 7.1 speakers is awesome. Usually, longer gaming sessions are uncomfortable when I use a headset.

if i have a sound proof room, i will definitely install 7.1 speaks and turn high volume man, but without a sound proof room i wont want neighbours to be complaining. Headset to wear for hours, buy over the ear headphones they're comfortable especially Beyer dynamics dt990 pro. Damn comfy.

Anyway, having a 5.1 (7.1) headset or speakers makes a huge difference in any shooter, coz you can detect the enemy position as soon as he fires

dun bother with the Deluxe edition. It only include cosmetics additions. Just buy the normal version will do.

I think either upgrade your graphic card or reduce the in game graphic setting.

Asus B85M-G
Intel i7-4790
8GB RAM
Asus Dual GTX 1070.

With this specs the game FPS still drop like hell.

It can dropped to even 30fps during the combat in multiplayer

Any suggestion guys?

Have you tried set your graphic setting to low first? Then slowly adjust the setting upwards. Those HBAO setting must be set to off. Low graphic setting is still the best way to ensure a smooth game play for FPS genre.

I have lower spec than yours and get around 70-80fps. Put all low and off. And try to turn off hints, player generated contents etc to try to make fps a bit higher. Actually many good players play on low since you get mini wallhack with the shit draw distance lol.

Tried like what you suggested. Seems not working.

So i think maybe my ram not enough.

So i went to shopee and order 8gb ram making it 16gb and dual channel.

Got the ram. Installed.

Now the fps wont drop below 60 FPS and im using High setting. Seems like this is the highest i can achieve. Usimg ultra will make it drop to 40-50 fps.

So other people who are having same problem like me can try my solution. Teehee.

gameplay is the best of all battlefield. depending on your playstyle, the game is easy since playerbase got dumber without 3d spotting and players blending in with environment

content wise the game sucks ass.

if you gonna make it your primary multiplayer game then $23 really worth it.

Hello, is there any different with origin premier account, delux version and standard version? whats the benefit beside cosmetic. is the game still active?

Avoid delux version, only have additional cosmetic.

Standard version - Full game, no paid DLC for BFV

Origin Premier Account - Monthly or Yearly subscription that allows you to play BFV and many more games.

You can even consider Origin basic account which is cheaper, just that it will not include paid DLC and 10 less games in library (229 vs 239 for now)

Singapore server is quite empty, normally 1 or 2 server on breakthrough (my fav mode, conquest may have more server). If that fail, you can always join Japan server (100 ping) which is fine by me.


BFV is suffering from lack of content, especially on maps. You may get bored after 2 or 3 months? repeating the same maps. Battle royale mode (Firestorm) is quite dead for our region, I hav gav up queuing for a game. Few times I've waited for more than 5mins and the matchmaking decided to kick me out "Match cannot be found", this applied to both squad and solo mode.

Only brightside of this is BFV has just received (Today 26th sept) a semi-major patch (4.6) that improved a lot of quality-of-life issues. But as usual BFV patch, we may or may not face more game breaking bugs introduced by new patch and the dev is VERY SLOW on patching those bugs.

On the other hand, by the time you get bored in 2 or 3 months time, Chapter 5 (Pacific maps, US faction and JPN faction) suppose to be released in October (expect end of October) which include private server (that can help eliminate the amount of cheater in BFV)

Do take note each Chapter I've mentioned above is like a free battle pass (months long) and weekly challenge where you play, gain exp to unlock cosmetic (which is meh), and weapon (there are very few new guns, most of them are reskinned melee weapon), and vehicle (even less new vehicles). So expect a lot of grinding for new stuff.

However for now, there is absolutely nothing for me grind except the pointless ranks of 500 level. (Chapter is over, no new weekly challenge)
