I'm more interested in the single-player element than the multiplayer, but not surprisingly, the reveal and the gameplay trailer for E3 2018 are focused on the latter.
Oh well, I'll wait for the single-player trailers when they're released at a later date. Then I'll see if it's worth getting it or not.
If your deal breaker is the quality of Single Player campaign, then you can forget about buying it. Battlefield series single player is not really that good compared to its legendary multi-player dynamism and intense game play.
I see. But I do recall that many critics praised the single-player portion in Battlefield 1. Of course multi-player still reigns for this series, no surprise there. Hopefully they'll be able to maintain that same quality in V.
For me, I'll just wait until the price drop further, then I may consider it.
The previous Battlefield games such as 3 and 4 for single-player are pretty so-so the last time I played them.
yes, I do finish the single player mission but only after I play multi-player for quite some time. And yes, BF1 single player is more "cinematic" but is quite boring playing the AI.
when is the beta?need to get key or its avalible to all origin player?
Already can download direct from Origin on PC since yesterday evening. Can install and set up the setting to your liking but cannot play yet. Those subscribe to Origin Access should have 2 days early access to the Open Beta - meaning they can start playing the Beta today. Else, start playing on Sept 6.
Just played a few rounds just now. The gameplay is not bad but have to run back to ammo crate to replenish... very tiring. Some more cannot spawn from Squad member yet, dunno why. Cannot manually create or join squad too, defeating the purpose of emphasizing on Squad play.
Anyone can confirm what currency for pre-order purchase ?
Origin here is SGD for sure.
I will suggest you to subscribe Origin Access basic for 1 month for S$6.45 then can start playing BFV earliest possible, even earlier than the pre-order. After trying BFV for 10 hours only buy the full game at 10% off (within the 1 month of Access subscription). Effectively getting the 1 month Access basic for free.

Which edition is the best ? Last time Bf 1 normal edition not support dlc and need to purchase deluxe or premium edition to access dlc.
I guess bfV also same, the deluxe edition will get dlc update in the future.
wow... you din really follow the BFV news.
this time all the DLC will be free, so DLC is not exclusive to Premium/Deluxe edition anymore. For the comparison of the 2 version, I suggest you read it at Origin web site.
Ya man..didn't pay much attention on the update. Thanks for updating.. Tempted for deluxe edition with extra skin & gear but pricy Which 1 did u purchase ?
Like I mention in my post above, I have subscribed to Origin Access Basic and will try BFV for 10 hours first. If the gameplay is similar to BF1, maybe I will skip. If it is good to play, I will buy the basic version. The extra SGD40 seems like not worth just for the skins.
yeah. 1 mth SGD 19.99. dont think got alt method. if its good i might purchase the annual pass since Anthem is incoming next year as well.
after 1 match in MP, fast pace as usual, now can spawn on any squad member, but Server is JP based only and No more add server to Favorite ?
great... let's have some fun later.
I think there are many SG server too. Ping very nice.... 18ms only for me.
The alternative method is to buy Origin Access Basic and just try for 10 hours and buy the Standard package @ 10% discount later. Origin Access Basic can play now, same as Premier, but just limited to 10 hours.
Have been playing for few hours of the whole afternoon - its game play is still more BF1-ish but faster pace. Conquest mode is ok but the Grand Operation is still shitty like BF1, totally unbalance.

I returned BO4 coz not enough players for Blackout
Battlefield series never have a problem filling up the server since BF1942 more than 15 years ago (except BF Hardline which I dun regard it as a BF game ).
I am thinking of getting BO4 for the battle royale mode later this month. If not many players in SEA then I really have to reconsider it.
So, I'm pretty new to the whole battlefield business, but quite a few of my buddies are really into it and they are constantly inviting me to join. If I'd join, I want to join with a bang and I've found this deal on BF5 Deluxe Edition which I think is very worth it! What's your opinions? Is Deluxe Edition adds that bang, or is it just an additional way for the publisher to trick you out of your money? waiting for the feedback, thanks ! <3
dun bother with the Deluxe edition. It only include cosmetics additions. Just buy the normal version will do.
Hi guys. I have this PC Specs Asus B85M-G Intel i7-4790 8GB RAM Asus Dual GTX 1070.
With this specs the game FPS still drop like hell.
It can dropped to even 30fps during the combat in multiplayer
Any suggestion guys?
Have you tried set your graphic setting to low first? Then slowly adjust the setting upwards. Those HBAO setting must be set to off. Low graphic setting is still the best way to ensure a smooth game play for FPS genre.
any update on this?? I have been playing BF series since BF2... and bought every single release until BF1... the game sucks
Hence didnt buy BF5... thinking to invest in this if still worth while
hi, bro. I think lots of BF hardcore players like you and me already lost hope on BF series. I bought BF1 and BF V and they are really not as fun as the good old BF2, 3 and 4.
Dun bother on BF V but I heard the next BF will be back to modern combat.
