well team gamewould be nice..
 since there wont be any tourney in a while why dont we have a league of some sort..more like our own ladder ranking so we can get people from outside our comunity to join..of some sort in those lines well its just an idea would be interesting to do |

Thats it, i give up, something is definately wrong here. Its either i don't understand what they are saying in the help thread or there is something wrong with my connection or modem. I really wish i had a technician to help me step by step with this.

try turning off your firewall while play?usually the firewall does that for some strange reasons..
are you using any third party firewall software like zone alarm?? are you connected to a router or just using the modem?? |

Therefore you need to open some port for it. Do you know how to foward ports?? Well if you dont then you should give the link waba gave to someone who you know knows how to do it. The tutorial is shown with the pictures. You just need to read a bit.
You cant be more out dated than me. Which step are u in now? More simplier steps to acquire IP, the tutorial one is a complete step, for layman: Start Menu > Run "cmd" "ipconfig" where it says " IP Address : 192.168...." that is your IP address of your specific computer on the network, so make a note of this. I have tried everything from that forum to turning off my firewall. Something is very wrong here. Before this my ip was auto obtain. After going through the steps i'm coneced to some internet gateway for linux igd thingy, is that good or bad?

The gateway in one on going and i can still connect. Its even faster then normal. Whats a gateway anyway?
