I mean, 1800 to 2000 is standard mah. As long as their renumeration package is on the industrial standard, I won't complain.

Standard? If there a dozen or more people looking at the same job as you are, and are willing to work for cheaper, you think the prospective employer wants to stick to that "standard rate?"

Don't count your chickens before they're hatched man.

Did you see the example that I gave, a dozen or more applicants, which is normally the case for FRESH/ENTRY LEVEL positions. You won't find yourself lacking in company when you apply for these sort of positions. Now, you were saying about supply and demand?

Nop tongue.gif tongue.gif but in college. Did some research for assigment. When desperate ppl keep want to work for a cheaper pay this will cause the company want to hire cheaper pay ppl to raise their company revenue. So this will cause a lot of frash to get low pay. Then more desperate ppl want to get job some more pay low liao. Then it keep going on and on till pay very less. This is what happening to the Accounting Line. The link u gave is a guide line right?

(p.s: I am not trying to flame here =.=" dont la like scolding me like that)

no one scolding u....everyone expressing their opinions...but I believe if all Malaysian, especially fresh graduates keep demanding on their salaries..we will c tonnes of expatriates from the third world..why not learn to accept that ..there is a ladder they all of us can climb...as an employer...i feel so pissed off..when seeing those fresh graduates resume requesting higher salaries...without thinking that there r abundance supply of unemployed graduates...and retrenched employees...just giving my opinions.... icon_rolleyes.gif

Here's my 2 cents......You may think you have it all planned out but life doesn't always turn out the way......You will know when you start working....

@DDSFan8 - I would suggest you save at least 3 months WITHOUT getting any single item for yourself and see how much you actually saves...If you have saved at least 50% of what you intend to save in the 1st place, I doubt you will have the urge to splurge it in 1 go after saving so hard for it..... wink.gif

@g5sim - No offence but it is very obvious from the way you post your reply to zorocaster that you r not working....What you study is 90% useless in the working world. There will be a time when after searching for a job for a few months that you decide to just lower your expectation and decided to go for any job....A degree doesnt gurantees you a job...It just makes it easier for you to find one.... sweat.gif

I actually agree with what you say but there are difference between idealism and reality. It is IDEAL to request for a salary that is high. But the reality is that if you put a high salary, we as employer would have no reason to hire you unless you are REALLY good.

Heck, everyone have a degree. What makes you think yours are more expensive? Quoted from my boss.

What's the point if you do something you hate and for less pay? It will indeed affect you and also the organization right?
