I never try, no more buying eo on9 for me
No xW-20 oil there
The things is petrol station no xw-20 oil, thinnest is 30.
I bought once that oil at tesco for my other car but the bottle no seal.
*
I always buy through online when Tesco still selling very good pricing engine oil last time.
Now Tesco is bringing less oil now, so no more purchasing from them.
Well, you may still try those online seller with big retail shop around. Seller like Vanli is quite a prolific seller, which having a big retail shop at KL area. Think this kind of seller will not risk selling fake oil that may condemn their reputation.

The worst part about this fake EO business is that there are nobody to catch them. The oil companies does not careless even though their brand name will be tainted. These companies are run by salaried management who wouldn't want to spend time catching these imitations as they don't want to be saddled with more jobs. As long as they achieve their targets, their overseas boss are happy.

The previous government are too busy songlaping , Hoping that the new government will do something to catch these unscrupulous idiots.

Anyway, who is the new minister of trade?

If you buy from Tesco/Giant/AEON or reputable sellers like Vanli then still ok and can save a lot from promotions. I personally never buy from petrol station and SC coz their prices are a scam too!

When Giant do sell Shell Ultra for RM99.90 on promotion which I believe isn't a fake oil , I doubt OWL's Shell Ultra at RM103 would not be genuine ..... unless an VOA is done to demonstrate otherwise.

I never buy engine oil from online. It is too cheap to believe, and dont even buy from any unauthorised shops, it seem more like imitation products from China.

Best to get your engine oil in authorised dealers or petrol stations.

For Lazada, buy only from reputable seller. Eg Vanli. They're in the spare parts industry for tens of years.

The Tesco EO, I'd been using them for many years. Either bought at their outlet or via their online channel, all ok.

Fake oil does not comes from China. The locals either blend it or recycle it.

For engine oil. Just buy from two places Petrol Station & Service Centers. Even spare parts shop I dare not buy due to worry of imitation. Alternatively, for those who want to buy imported oil like Mobil 1 and Pennzoil / royal purple. May consider few of our online members here.

NOT WORTH TO SAVE FEW BUCKS on short term.
