btw already bought castrol fully syn for RM 174 including labour, castrol engine flush (free gift) and oil filter.

The mechanical parts are warranted 5 years...but since yours first gen & I guess not that many mechanical problems with proton if you follow the service schedule.

Just be careful buying parts & fluids outside...there’s a reason they are cheap...best bet is to buy from reputable sellers
Yup...the latest iRiz has improved leaps & bounds over the first launched unit...better not ‘fiddle’ with anything in your first year, you’ll never know if Proton gave you a lemon...

Hi guys. Anyone facing aircond issue? Mine since last year aug i though my aircond ran out of gas. So i refill first then 1 week after aircond finish. Then check again said the valve got problem. So change valve and things last for 4 month. Go back check for leaking they said no leak at the engine bay area. Now my aircond gas finish again. The workshop said proly the aircond coil got leaking. But to open it to check will be expensive. I wanna ask first here maybe any of u guys had the same issue.

1 thing for sure the aircond will produce siiiiii sound non stop. And i dont smell anything from the cabin. Anyone facing the same issue before or currently?

just bought used Iriz from an engineer working at Proton COE  right before MCO started.

Very low mileage, only 36,000KM for 2014 year made 

yep in term of handling i’d say neo/gen2 fare much better, but then the neo comes with more sophisticated set of rear suspensions and lower center of gravity.

i think my car only used for faring people and stuffs within the COE center and been parked for a long time before actually selling it off. IP noise kit from Proton also not yet installed as well. But for the price I pay, i still think it’s worth it.

Couldn't agree more that Hankook is the best bang for the price. But unfortunately, Ventus v12 Evo2 (k120) is no longer available in Malaysia & it's being replaced by Ventus Prime 3 (k125), which is a touring tire, not UHP as the former. I found out these from the tire dealers bcoz I want to replace my front PS3 which the tread depth is low & having chipping and peeling issues. Now that I'm in a dilemma to give k125 a try or stick back with PS3. But I read around that chipping & peeling issues r very common for PS3.

My current setup is Front PS3 & Rear Ventus v12 Evo2. Bcoz my earlier front PS3 is having the same problem & I rotate the rear set to the front & replaced the worn-out one with Ventus v12 Evo2 at the rear. Should I give PS3 another try or is there any alternative for Ventus v12 Evo2?
