I'm using Iriz 2019. Lately this gear console is rattling and it's starting to annoy me. Anyone have this problems and have diy solutions to this?

My suspect is the glossy black plastic because when I press it down, it stops rattling.

Nothing mentioned here regarding Super Locking

Design flaw. Cant be fixed. That's why the revised one using 3 point mounting. Couple of other issues cropped up but nothing major. Just don't want to deal with sc back n forth all the time.

I love the car but among other issues that made me fedup and decide to cut my losses because i dont have time to go sc all the time to claim warranty

1) brake switch problem, cant start car (need to step on clutch to start)
2) check engine light issue when clutch released too early after starting the car (caused by bad positioning error code, reset myself using obd sensor)
3) power window problem, plastic holder broke
4) steering rubbing sound eekk ekkk come and go
5) Under carriage rattling (found out is loose transmission cover)
6) interior rattling problem lol, cos the engine vibrates more the interior rattles even when idling.

Now you say it i did have problem feeling like power loss when i step on throttle past 50% to accelerate. Maybe sign of fuel pump issue. Sc always say no issue haiz. I guess need to wait until become major prob and stranded on the road only sc will change it.

My wife's Iriz got hit from behind by another car and the rear splash shield left dangling at the bottom. Anyone knows how much to repair or replace this?

I have the 2015 Iriz 1.6 Premium and it's been fine so far until recently.

Maybe I have ignored it all these time but I've been hearing a low pitched "purring" noises whenever my car is on idle. Not sure if this is normal but I've attached a recording of it in this post.

It's due for a CVT transmission service this end of May if it matters and I was wondering if I should send it to get it serviced earlier.

This was when the A/C is turned off but if it's turned on, it's working normally.

Any suggestion whether to repair in Proton SC or workshop in Selayang?
Let say if I decide to repair in workshop. is the price will be cheaper and how about parts? is it genuine? That is the main concern if I want to repair in workshop rather than Proton SC

Is it true if using insurance, proton SC will quote a lot?

Last time I service my car in January 2023, Proton quote me this price to repair AC problem



After 1 week, I went to Kedah for holiday trip, during the journey, the ac becoming problem and blow without cold aircond. After I went to car aircond shop, he asked if want to change the coil or condenser due to leaking, but I asked to topup gas and he quoted the price in the below


Any suggestion or recommendation either I need to go to

a) Proton or
b) Car service shop or
c) Car aircond shop

for this problem?
My pick will be c, but any suggestion best service car aircond shop in Selayang or Sentul with reasonable price.

I understand but instead of buy all the thing from shopee, is there any recommendation car accessories shop that do this brand? in kl?
