Ppl heard it and disliked it, thus feature was removed from Gen2 & Waja.
Didn't expect them to bring this feature back.
I know it's supposed to help slow the car down but 4k rpm is a bit too much for a city car and I cannot bear the fuel wasted (filled car @ Genting, by the time reach Gohtong Jaya already missing 1 bar of fuel)...
Yea i was quite surprised too when u said a 4k rpm down hill means wasting fuel Didn't expect them to bring this feature back.

Btw guys, about that engine braking and neutral stuff, i read about this theory before and did some test last time on the NSE turning into mont kiara, where there is a big stretch of downhill just before the toll. The theory is when engine braking fuel injection system will cut off hence better efficiency and neutral is not so due to idle rpm.
I remembered doing the test on my MT iriz, resetting the L/100km just when it goes down hill and end up concluding neutral actually shows better L/100km. Anyone have other test data? it also could be during neutral the higher speed meant more distance covered in a short time plus i remember quite when engine braking the L/100km is some value above 2 L/100km. Seems like the counter doesn't indicate fuel injection total cut off
