back.... my report is, the guy /banker dont even know, he say only the IT staff will know about petrol rebate for esavers. but the advert is still up for it, so there should still be rebates.

the reason why they retain my card is r-block which the guy dont even know what it is. he just reissue me another card. so much for my time.

So the 7% cash rebate on petrol for esaver debit card still there?

Good to hear that you have a new card by now.

well. i called customer service that day to block my card. so i also asked abt the rebate. there's such thing... n according to that person, it'll be banked-in to our accounts. the next month  brows.gif

What do you mean? You will get petrol rebate for which month? Since the current offer end Last December, do you ask them whether it will be continue or not?

By the way I just notice today that if you subscribe to estatement instead of paper statement, you will received RM5 rebate. Not sure the frequency of the rebate as my account only opened <2month. Applicable for both e$aver & Saadiq$aver.

well, based from feedback.. ppl say stay away from nexg and also tune money wor. but personally, i use public bank's visa electron. not bad. RM21 annual fees. but it'll be waived if u charge RM1200 or 1100 per year. then you'll get 0.5% cash back. but go try alliance banks debit card. i might get it too. 2% cash back and also they offer interest of 1.5% for the money in ur account. and the cards looks gorgeous. i really wanna go get it and close my public bank 1... but wanna see their TnC 1st. will update you all if there's a request.

For me the best Debit Card now is Standard Chartered Saadiq & Second is Alliance Debit Card,

Standard Chartered Saadiq Saadiq$aver-i have 7% rebate on petrol & 5% rebate on hypermarket but up to june 09 only. Their dividend also very good ~2.5% if balance <RM15k or ~3.4% if balance >RM15k.

For Alliance bank debit card, they have 3 level of card

1. Standard card - 1 % cash rebate
2. Platinum card - 1.5% cash rebate (need to have platinum CC or deposit RM20k to apply)
3. Premium card - 2% cash rebate (by invitation only or deposit RM200k to apply)

The cash rebate applicable for all transaction.

For alliance debit card, if you have platinum credit card from other bank, do not need to deposit 20k, 200 is enough. Yes saadiq only at TTDI branch

Seems like there's a lot of PB visa electron user here. Why didnt you guys chose the PB ING Mastercard Paypass in the first place?? Since it got an extra Paypass feature, wouldnt it be better?? Or does it have any drawback??
*
With PB Visa Electron you can use it to withdraw paypal fund while you can't do that with PB ING Mastercard Paypass.

Personally I have not encounter any problem with Alliance Bank. I have Hybrid Account with Platinum Debit Card, Saving account & Gold Credit Card with them. So far quite satisfy with their services, especially with regard to cash rebate that they offer with their Credit & debit card.

So don't worry.

Are you sure that only Visa works with withdrawal ?

Edit : You gotta have Vista , and gotta use Visa. It just doesn't work with Mastercard

http://rhodilee.com/mastercards-cant-be-us...w-paypal-money/

Its funny because it says that you can use to withdraw money with visa and master but only works with Visa
*
Yes, only VISA card works, mastercard will not work for withdrawal.

I've heard that its possible as long you have a Visa card in PayPal

There are some cases whereby its possible withdraw money to mastercard , provided if you have Visa

TuneCard would be fine
*
Yes, If you have multiple card verified in your paypal account, does not matter what card you have, you can always withdraw to any of your verified visa card provided that your bank/card provider allow it. biggrin.gif
