Actually the PVR and Ultra Box remotes can be used interchangeably.
However, to control my Skyworth TV, only the Ultra works with the new Skyworth codes given for the Ulti remote, but the power/standby function is not so good, and the Ultra remote does not have a separate TV button. Long press the power button not the same.
The Ulti remote has separate device and TV buttons again, like the PVR remote. So I have higher hopes for it.

Ok, Fox Sports 2 is now showing a live NRL match from Australia. But the on-screen program guide says AFC Champions League. Does the EPG need to be refreshed?

If they start cutting channels, subscribers on contract will feel justified in demanding to either terminate their contracts or get a rebate...

I'm still unable to watch several channels on my PVR box. Only checked news channels, CGTN, BBC,JAZEERA, CNA, CNBC, etc.
Have rebooted the box, nada...

Yes I am. When I upgraded my downstairs to Ultra, they changed my box to DCSS and put in a splitter.

Just because the Input setting on your PVR and Ultra Box is set to dCSS, it doesn't mean you are using DCSS LNB at the satellite dish there. I suspect the installer didn't replace your LNB at the satellite dish there to the new DCSS LNB.

As usual, contact customer service and arrange a technician to come over and check.

I think he did. He showed me the change. Plus I've been watching with no problems until the Measat issue.

If I remember correctly, when they upgraded my setup to Ultra last year, they put a splitter at the dish, as I had multiroom with a PVR upstairs and the Ultra box downstairs.

Then, at my PVR, they put another splitter to connect to my PVR's 2 satellite inputs for the dual tuners on the PVR. The Ultra box just had a single cable connected.

Has been working fine all this time.

I'm not subscribing to your particular set of channels, but since late evening, all my channels in my subscription have been restored after 2 days of waiting. Had to reset both my decoders (Ultra downstairs and multiroom with PVR upstairs.)

With Astro going thru all these changes to its plans, if I find that my package has less channels than when I started, wouldn't that be grounds for cancelling my subscription even if I am on contract?

Astro is getting desperate. I just got a text telling me I'm already registered for Disney when my package is not on the eligible list.

Ok, just to check here before I call Astro for help.
My setup at my additional PVR decoder upstairs is fine, one cable from dish split into the 2 inputs of the decoder. All channels work fine. However, from time to time, I get mosaic artefacts on my screen, which go away after I move the cable behind the decoder.
Loose connection, right? But this only happens for BBC World News 512! All other channels are fine! I have reconnected all the cables and screwed the connections tight. But it still happens.
I am trying to avoid calling the astro tech in to my house if it's something I can fix myself.
Anybody got any ideas?

Ch 512 works fine on my Ultra box downstairs.
57% and 100% on the PVR.

They will probably tell you the request was made too late to catch the next billing cycle. So pay 1 more month of the higher rate... smile.gif
