The seller can bring in Android box legally and has Sirim approval. Normally buyers would ask if the box can receive Astro, Netflix, etc. They will say can and give additional cost to add either in form of monthly subscription or one time payment. Then an apps package will be installed. Then you can have all the service you wanted.

It is hard to control because the service is streamed online through IP address set on the box. This is something known probably more than 10 years ago but still operating. Even I think they sell service in online shopping. They will guide you where to download apps and teach you how to install and setup. It is just an apps and can be installed on and Android box.

You cannot expect the claimed HD to be really HD

Do you have relatives or friends who are subscribing to the same plan or better than yours?
Can ask them can tolong for multi-room or not to save $$$

I believe the answer can be either good or bad since Astro is using service from either Unifi, Time or TNB Allo. If area you reside is not over subscribed with the service from provider, then it is good. I believe the area served by Time usually good because Time has excess bandwidth.

This upcoming system upgrade is quite a long period of time, Astro has to make a dedicated website to inform customers about services that will be unavailable in phases.

Need to compromise with the low quality of PQ and AQ for those iptv box.

With new 4K tv, the PQ is not getting better as the iptv box doesn't have upscaling capabillity.

It is very challenging to close Assthrow account now.  Even white man also faced the same challenge to close account since October 2023.
