You mean Indonesian Favourites?

Inside is Astro Rania (Ch 112) & Astro Aura (Ch 113). It’s still available as part of Asian Favourites (also incl. Viu Premium & Indian Favourites) if you’re on Entertainment Pack and above.

No Malay Favourites in existence as all flagship Malay channels (i.e. Mustika channels 107 & 108) are on entry-level Primary Pack.

For Ultrabox, is there any way to make the menu operation/channel switching more responsive? By turning off any unwanted functions maybe?

The article in soyacincau.com did not mention about that, only stated complimentary for Sports Pack

Eventually I registered a new account/package for my family under Entertainment Package,
while my sister's existing account kasih terminated and ask for balance refund to resolve all these, haha.

my sister got call to CS to terminate and the person attend got ask the reason why terminate but somehow the person did not offer the on-going promo package, too bad.
I myself subscribed the Sooka VIP app and I can watch Astro AOD with others chinese channels + Sport channels, worth la.. haha.

It is not good if you are already paying a premium for Chinese, which most of us are unless you just registered/switched to lower-tier plans.
I'm on Platinum now and will downgrade once my contract ends in a couple of months.

So basically most Malay and Chinese channesl are bundled and pack as basic. That's good actually.

From what I heard of is :
Assthrow has less customers now with more are terminating its subscriptions.
They are finding ways to get more new customers with 2 years contracts for family pack and to give some sweets, they bundled it with ch 803 & 804.
But doing so, those existing liga pack customers will downgrade and resulting lesser revenue and therefore, they give better sweets to them for sport channels as not to impact the revenue negatively.

Question here, does the conversion fee only required if we want to retain the same user name or email registered with Astro?
If let say I were to register with another person's details, then there is no need for this conversion fee?

But that package is no longer available for subscription right. It only available to those that subscribe back then before the cut off date. For those that already on the sport package, they cannot downgrade that easily due to contract back then and nobody know that their subscription will enable the full sport package.
The timing of subscription for those that are lucky enough...

But who knows if too much complaint maybe they remove RM9.99 subscribers.

They just pray it will work but the chance is not good after all.
For every customer who is terminating with subscription fee more than RM100, they need to get 2 customers to offset the deficit.
To window-dressing the ARPU to fool the investors, Fiber is bundled.

The more desperate moves they are doing now like what KFC has offered like RM36 for 9pcs chicken parts, the more failure probability they are going to happen.
Smart investors will invest in a company that are having a good big picture on how to grow the company but assthrow is fire fighting now with no organic growth.
Pay tv in Spore is charging EURO2024 at a higher price and able to do that to generate more profit.
Assthrow cannot do that for its sport package customers and this will eventually impact negatively into its profitability.

Whether it is wise for them to do that?  It is not going to grow the business because the content quality is getting worse.
Assthrow share price will tell you whether it is wise to do it like if it increases to double or above RM1?

My ultrabox is connected to both satellite dish and LAN.
Say if I want to change to 801. I would need to wait few 1-2 seconds after pressing "8" until it displays on the screen, after that 2nd and 3rd digit would be normal.
Selecting icon to icon on the GUI also abit laggy. Like very old android box.

Wish there's better spec of the ultrabox or maybe the astro software team can polish the GUI better.

Recycled Rojak specially selected and cooked with Indian flavor just to make Tamil offerings look big n spicy Maybe later they will add recyled content like documentaries from their In House channels 201 & 202

I realise certain shows that my parents recorded actually has an AOD version so there isn't even a need to record the show at all. I've checked it myself and it seems that when you select to record, it doesn't even prompt to tell you there is an AOD available. You will only know if you actively search for it lol.

Also, is there another place in the UI where they put the 'watchlist', I can only find it at 'Home' and have to scroll all the way down to see it, doesn't help that the UI is slow/laggy.

Simple quality of life stuff but maybe I missed something and it's not meant to be like that?

I have subscribed to Multiroom Smart TV, but why are my cloud recording hours still limited to 200 hours?

with regards to Astro GO+, Astro mentioned that can watch up to 4 devices at a time (1 smart tv and 3 other devices). Is it possible to install the app to 2 smart TVs but only watch on 1 at a time? Example, I install 1 at my office and another one at my house in the living room? At home, I watch Astro in the bedroom using the Ultra box but at times I want to watch it in the living room.

aha, I don't mind the hassle to remove and redo the tv access. I thought I could bypass the RM14.99 and just pay RM5.99 for Astro GO+.

If there is no cooling period, it maybe worth to subscribe to Multiroom. But if there is a cooling period, then it doesn't suit my needs at the moment. Maybe I'll try contacting their CS about this.

Alternatively I could login to Astro Go via a web browser on my Google TV. Lemme try that next week and see if it works.
