Just a minor update regarding sooka, Astro’s standalone app. Now all live TV channels available on sooka are streaming in 1080i 50fps… if your cellular data or Wi-Fi connection is high enough. To recap, here’s the available channels: • Astro Arena 1 & 2 • Astro Awani • Astro SuperSport 1-5 • beIN Sports 1-3 • eGG Network • Eurosport • KBS World • SPOTV • tvN Asia Qash-M liked this post

QUOTE(joshhd @ Feb 1 2022, 10:09 PM) This means, for those who don't subscribe to the RM84.90/month VIP plan, can just forget about using Sooka app on smart TV. Sooka on smart TV is meant for "expensive people" rather than "cheap people". Harsh, yet true. QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Feb 1 2022, 10:11 PM) Also, it's the only "legal" way currently to get Astro (albeit limited channels) on an Android TV. Haih.. Perah duit je kerja How I missed the previous Astro TV Beta app for a one-time fee of RM20 if you guys remember. Way more intuitive UI with more decent channels. This post has been edited by doubleM2: Feb 1 2022, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(izwanikhsan @ Feb 22 2022, 08:23 AM) Starhub won EPL rights in Singapore for 6 years over Singtel - https://www.channelnewsasia.com/business/st...singtel-2510981 A big win for StarHub though. Now that StarHub will broadcast the live matches on Hub Sports channels, does that mean Singtel TV will cover live EPL via cross-carriage?This post has been edited by doubleM2: Feb 22 2022, 08:56 AM |

QUOTE(Iptvfan @ Mar 4 2022, 07:43 AM) Only available on Android TV models of TV manufacturers Sharp and Sony for now - https://www.lowyat.net/2022/265736/sooka-an...ice-sony-sharp/Or you can download the APK file here to enjoy: https://archive.org/details/sooka-android-tv You have to subscribe to sooka VIP TV first for RM84.90/month then can watch the content on Android TV. Although this plan supports 2 devices, only 1 connected Android TV and 1 of any other preferred device (PC/phone/tablet) can watch simultaneously. Unfortunately, still cannot Chromecast though. TV AlHijrah to reverse as a free-to-air HD channel on NJOI Ch 114 from today, March 25, 2022, onwards. Prior to this, AlHijrah was in HD Pack on March 22 due to the channel's "HD" upgrade on NJOI. ![]() joshhd liked this post

Just like how back then where Netflix app was made available on Ultra Box first. Meanwhile on Unifi TV,... https://www.lowyat.net/2022/271960/disney-h...r-unifi-tv-may/ Coincidence? QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Apr 23 2022, 12:06 AM) Either insider info or it's from Hotstar themselves and not Astro AAAA SAYANG UNIFI TV In other news, you will get login for SPOTVNow and Bein Sport Connect if you are a Unifi TV customer. I wonder why Astro don't give us access similar to that. This post has been edited by doubleM2: Apr 23 2022, 12:21 PM |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Apr 23 2022, 04:14 PM) I see that a lot of people complained about SPOTV's WSBK image quality on Astro's pop up channel. Astro has to put a ticker tape at the bottom stating Something to do with SPOTV’s broadcast format I guess. They use NTSC 60fps from South Korea instead of using Southeast Asia’s PAL 50fps"Image quality is from source" I wonder why SPOTV still can't get the same image quality as Fox Sports Asia could. |

QUOTE(chuppachop @ Apr 27 2022, 09:43 PM) Hub Sensasi is StarHub in house channel, StarHub has recently outsource all their in house channels operations to 3rd party vendors as ots vheper to manage the channels .... the Hub Sports, Hub E City channels etc are all no longer operated by StarHub.... so this Sensasi is outsource to astro since the programming will be more appealing. I'll share the pics when the channel is live this Fri. QUOTE(joshhd @ May 26 2022, 12:17 AM) Mhmm... I guess it's likely that Astro is the one that wants to pull the plug. The replacements of Korean shows are plenty to watch on Astro anyway. Besides the linear K-Plus channel, you've got Disney+ Hotstar, iQIYI, and Netflix. Just pick and watch instantly.Maybe they foresee that Oh!K channel is going to cease near future, so they pull the plug early? |
