i cant add my mbb debit to samsung pay after i format my phone..i can add/able to use the card before format the phone ...

the error message in app say i need to contact mbb, but what should i say to them in specific way

try again later ..... i always kena cause i have few device is company developer phone (some time i use it to redeem same coupon)

That's right, reset is required. Some machines will show the "Frequency Limit Exceeded", while others will show "Do not honour". Petrol kiosk pump will show "Sale is declined". I think I have encountered once with McD self-checkout kiosk where the terminal did not show any of the above error messages, but it just failed.

One of the ways to reset your pin is by using the petrol kiosk terminal. Go figure.

I also waiting to redeem my points then quit. Samsung for spay i think they didnt plan ahead so now there too much points floating in the market they do not know what to do.

They have 2 options - since point have expiry they can delay and drag it beyond the timeline so if you didnt redeem its your problem

dear Samsung pay users, today ive encountered a very pissed event when i'm trying to make my Spayment.

this local supermarket allowed for paywave and nv mention about minimum( by right they are not allow to do so).
so last month i found 1 of thier item which is only 20cents, so i bought 4 and request counter seperate the bill, so that i can have 4 transaction/Spoint count.
I've done this 2-3 times already but cashier has no issue.

Then today 1 fine afternoon, when i went to this supermarket again to perform the Spay.
at 1st cashier told me that 20cents cannot paywave, but i replied her that how come i can perform it last time. so she let me paid with spay.
then this guy(manager) came over to the cashier and stop me for using my Spay for 2nd payment.

he told me that he has notice me that i always separate my bill, 20cents 20cents pay, then he asked me why do i wan to do this? i replied him i wan to collect point.
Then he said: you know everytime u perfom this we need to pay for service charge.
Then i replied him BNM dont allow merchant to set minimum amount.
He called bank, bank has no issue, but he told me his/management decision dont wan to sell me the item.
i was like: WOW WTF ??

i didnt make the complain to BNM on the spot, coz i didnt know that, till i went home then search google.

From the BNM app "how to lodge a complain" page. 1st step: Approach FSP(financial Service Provider) branch.

My question is: who is the FSP? the paywave terminal? or my Spay registered card ?

Not really. I think that's the plan all along. Give you points and great redemptions at first to lure users. Once users accumulate, then slowly inflate points. I don't see a problem with that. Samsung didn't promise anything.

Before this, S7e users even get to win phones. Then slowly dwindle down and finally this is what we get. Just enjoy it while it last.

I only swipe max 20times for few months already. Just accumulate points from Bixby only. 22k++ also. If I don't get any good redemption, so be it. Still happy with the first gen iconx and free powerbank from pbb. Also some cashback from HLB.

I earned/won cash back from Mastercard Malaysia & PBB.

Even rm1 i also feel shy to do. You dare to do 20 cents somemore separate bill. Haha.

I don't want to comment on the abuse as I also been buying a lot sub RM5 items from Tesco and McD sundae for 4-5 months with some larger transactions in between. It gets tiring after that and I have given up on buying frequently, rather just using it whenever I'm paying by card.

The thing about these promotion is that the funds for marketing will eventually runs dry. It might even be discontinued in near future. I will still use it regardless of the rewards. If I'm lucky to get something, hell yeah, I'm happy. If I'm not, then I just use the remaining points to get some free BR ice creams or condoms from Watsons. It's just extra on top of the cash back and points I get from using the cards with the phone.

Oh yeah... PBB also have the 1st, 3rd, 6th and 10th transactions cash back. I also got about RM100 from it.
