If it is not for higher spending group, how many would actually choose to go max value for daily groceries.

And judging the demographic and population mix in beranang, you think they will choose to spend in max value instead of econsave/tesco? Probably just go there blow aircon & pick few items by emotion.

Very agree! As I said BeN is good when looking for "certain" ingredients such as panettone during xmas. Don't think you will find it in Tesco (thol maybe). But you r right, most ppl won't go there for their daily grocery.

Please don't so obsess with Semenyih. Believe Nilai is more vibrant and happening to compare with Semenyih. That a facts.

Demographic in nilai and Cheras is very different.

saiful faudzi > You don't be so obsessed about Nilai. I've been to Nilai twice and I don't like that area. It is NOT anymore vibrant and lively than Semenyih. Even in Nilai you can see a lot of vacant and abandon shops offices/houses.

And furthermore, Nilai is so far away from KL, you might as well go live in Singapore and drive to work everyday to KL. Semenyih is nearer to KL and Cheras and easier to reach too. Majority of Semenyih residents live in Semenyih and work in KL as many people in Semenyih has told me. I have also trailed/followed/observed a lot of cars and motorcycles from KL or Cheras going back home into Semenyih. Not only that I've observed many Semenyih residents taking the MRT and Komuter to go to work from Kajang to KL and PJ. I too at one time use to travel to work from Semenyih to KL CDB [City Centre]/Damansara Heights/Mont Kiara and even Cyberjaya everyday.

Don't try to compare Semenyih with Nilai, that is like trying to compare heaven and earth. It is not fair because it is like comparing New York with Kampung Pasir. And no, I am not originally from Semenyih, I was originally born and grew up in Setapak, KL. I have no regrets staying in Semenyih. In fact, I prefer Semenyih over Setapak.

If you ask me Semenyih is very vibrant at nights everyday after evening office hours and especially on Friday and Saturday night as their is huge crowd in Semenyih commercials.
